Fishing Fridays – Fishing License

August 31, 2012

Today is the day all Texas State Fishing Licenses Expire, so we went and got our fishing licenses renewed! If you’re a Texas resident don’t forget to renew your fishing license!! I know we will be enjoying some great fishing this weekend! Hopefully I’ll catch another big bass, and we’ll actually bring the cooler this time so we can actually keep it! haha We were both smacking our heads for not having one the last time! I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend!

I never even got my license this year. We’ve only been a couple of times (not by my choice) and that was on private property.

It’s funny reading this, my husband who is from TX was just telling me this today, and how much he misses fishing. I need to find out about ours here in OH and see if we could get him one, I know the boys would love to go!

  How funny! I was born and raised in Ohio! If I remember correctly they don’t have a specific date where all licenses expire – I believe theirs is set up so it expires one year from when you purchase it. It’s much cheaper than the TX fishing license, too! At least that’s how it used to be, but it’s been 4 years since I lived in Ohio last, and a lot can change!

Did you have a good time fishing? My son and daughter want to go fishing I dont know how to do it well mainly clean what is caught. That kinda scares me. lol
