1 Girl Nation Review

November 21, 2013 by Emilee Evans

Disclosure: As part of the FlyBy Blogger Network I received the 1 Girl Nation CD to facilitate my 1 Girl Nation review. Regardless, I only recommend products I feel would be good for my readers. All opinions are my own and those of my family.
1 Girl Nation
By now you may have heard “While We’re Young” by 1 Girl Nation on the Christian radio airwaves. I know I did the other day, and I was so excited! Not only is it a fun, rocking song, but it comes with such a great message for young people – don’t look back on your life with regrets – live for Jesus while you’re young! I know it’s a message I wish I had heard more of years ago, and it’s a message I am thrilled to pass on to my children!
You know those times, though, where what you say to your kids isn’t always “cool?” Our kids are still young, and I’m sure that becomes more prominent as they get older! 1 Girl Nation offers a fresh perspective from five talented young women (Carmen, Kayli, Kelsey, Lauryn Taylor and Lindsey) that are fun and funky! Their music is an upbeat pop style with a bit of rock, and their songs are focused on living life for God! I love that they are particularly appealing to young girls who can definitely benefit from the wonderful message from these young women who are so relatable!
Check out the fun fold out poster from the CD!

1 Girl Nation Review

Our almost 6 year old daughter has been loving the CD, and dances all over the room! She’s already starting to sing along to some of the songs, too, and she loves them. They have been a conversation starter for us as well, which I always love. 1 Girl Nation is packed with powerful messages from living for God to knowing you’re beautiful. I appreciate that they really have a passion for sharing these powerful messages and changing lives!
Of course, she isn’t the only one that has been rocking to 1 Girl Nation – I admit, I have been, too! It’s a CD you can really get into! Although I think 1 Girl Nation is fantastic for young girls I also think their CD is great for the whole family!
1 Girl Nation’s Debut Album was released in August and can be purchased on Amazon

I would give this to my daughter Alyssa. She loves singing and dancing. This would be a great Christmas gift, because she got a small CD player for her birthday but only has one age appropriate CD to listen to. Thank you for the chance!
