Adorable Pitter Patter Dress from TwirlyGirl

April 28, 2014 by Emilee Evans

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial to facilitate my TwirlyGirl review.
TwirlyGirl Review
Our daughter LOVES dresses. In fact, she would probably be happy to just wear a dress every day! She is also an active girl that likes the outdoors as well, so when choosing the right dresses for her I look for something girly and pretty but also comfortable and flexible. That’s why I was excited to review one of their kid party dresses. Their kids dresses for parties like these are just what Aurora needs to feel pretty, have a beautiful twirl (a dress that flares out while she twirls is a must!) and still have a light material so she can run and play!
She was excited before we even unwrapped it because it was wrapped up in beautiful material and ribbons!

When we unwrapped it, though, and she first saw her Pitter Patter kids party dress, she was so excited to try it on. In fact, she had to try it on immediately! Her first impression was the beautiful heart, flowers and bright colors. She also loved how soft the material was. Because she has Sensory Processing Disorder, things like seems, tags, rough material, etc. can really make her feel uncomfortable. Sometimes she is even hesitant to try new clothes on. Not this dress, though!
TwirlyGirl Review
She wanted me to take pictures right away, too! She didn’t even allow me time to fix up her hair! She was ready to show it off and try it out! She definitely loves the soft material and the fact that it doesn’t have itchy seams. In fact, this is one of the few pieces of clothing she wears without any complaints at all!
The back of the dress has the tag on the outside rather than the inside which also means there were no complaints or a need to cut off a tag. That’s also a big plus for this momma who cuts off many tags since we have another child who has sensory aversion to clothing textures as well! Another plus for me is that it’s machine washable. No handwashing necessary, and it comes out looking just as good!
TwirlyGirl Review
Although we had already gotten Aurora her new dress for Easter, she now insisted she wear her new Pitter Patter kids party dress instead. And why not? What an appropriate occasion for one of these beautiful kids dresses for parties. She was able to enjoy the warm weather in a nice material that isn’t too hot, she was able to show off her beautiful twirl and she was able to remain comfortable the whole day. It was a long, busy day with a lot of different activities, so that was important!
TwirlyGirl Review
She has worn her TwirlyGirl Pitter Patter dress, which is how I know it stands up great to washing! I think it’s pretty safe to say it’s her new favorite dress!
