Compassion Bloggers in Nicaragua

June 19, 2013 by Emilee Evans

Follow the Compassion Bloggers in Nicaragua
I feel very blessed to be able to spread the word of Compassion International. We sponsor a girl in Guatemala, and it has been such a blessing getting to know her as well as a very eye-opening experience. We hope to one day meet her in person by traveling to Guatemala. I know it will be like nothing we have ever experienced!
This week some of the Compassion Bloggers are in Nicaragua. I have been following their journey, and one post that really touched me is from Christy at Southern Plate where she shares her story about meeting her sponsored child. I was close to tears reading her emotions of meeting him in person for the first time imagining I will feel the same way. It was also very eye-opening to learn more about Nicaragua and seeing the pictures. I also enjoyed hearing how the children love the Compassion Center knowing Compassion is really making such an impact in these families’ lives. It’s something that I know in my heart but just became more real reading and seeing her experience.
This is just one of the many experiences in Nicaragua. There are five different Compassion Bloggers sharing their experiences, so be sure to read all of their unique experiences. Please join me in praying for their safety for the remainder of their visit and their travel home.
