Color Fun Fest is Coming Back to Houston!

October 3, 2014 by Emilee Evans

In May my husband and I had the chance to participate in the Color Fun Fest in Houston, and I’m excited to share that it will be coming back through Houston!
Disclosure: I will receive registration to the Color Fun Fest in exchange for event promotion and participation. Regardless, all opinions are my own and those of my family.
Color Fun Fest
The Color Fun Fest 5K is making their way through the US! Color Fun Fest 5K is a day and night color 5K with EPIC Finish Line Festivals. Run through 4 color stations on a 5k course and finish with one big party! Plus, be on the lookout for FUN Blasters that run through the crowd with color fire extinguishers!
A special Halloween Edition will be rolling through Houston on November 1st! Costumes are required – OK not really, but what fun would a Halloween Color Fun Fest be without costumes, right? There will be Halloween music, attractions and more!
The Color Fun Fest is so inviting. There is no pressure and it’s family-friendly! Kids under 12 and under can participate FREE with registration! So go for a date night, with friends, or enjoy it with the whole family!
Color Fun Fest in Houston
Not only is Color Fun Fest FUN, but they give back as well! Color Fun Fest’s 2014 beneficiary charity is Free Arts For Abused Children. They are accepting donations from across the country to help children with adverse pasts overcome their hardships through creativity and expression. Color Fun Fest partners with local charities as well to help spread awareness of important causes in communities.

WOW! That looks like so much fun! Do you run the 5K? I don’t think that I could do that because #1 I’m totally out of shape & #2 because I have problems with my legs due to the diabetes and all! This seems like a Terrific event to be part of! Plus, they donate some proceeds to help the kids! How Wonderful is that! I hope you guys have a blast this year at the event! Thanks for sharing this information with us! Please write about it once it’s done. I look forward to hearing all about it and seeing pictures! Thanks, Michele 🙂

Last time we walked some and ran/jog some. I have Fibromyalgia, and my husband has chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy, so with both of our physical challenges we were excited just to give it a shot! Even walking it would be an accomplishment, so I was thrilled we ran some! 🙂
