Natural Family Care Products { EverydayHappy Review }

August 31, 2015 by Emilee Evans

There is nothing better than knowing products we’re using are safe for our whole family. It’s even better knowing that a company really has a desire to offer (and put a lot of work into offering) natural family care products!
Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate my EverydayHappy review. Regardless, all opinions are my own and those of my family. This post contains affiliate links.

EverydayHappy offers a variety of great delivered straight to your door each month. Natural products without the fuss of going to the store? It’s a great option for busy parents! They are on a mission is to make every day happy. In fact, they Try Natural Baby and Family Products for free – only pay for shipping. It’s not only a great opportunity to try the EverydayHappy products, but also to decide what kit is right for your family. You can receive a trial for all three kits!

For our review we received the Family Care Kit which includes 5 eco-friendly and toxin-free essentials:

  • Shampoo & Body Wash 8.4 Fl. Oz
  • Face & Body Lotion 8.4 Fl. Oz
  • Liquid Hand Soap 8.4 Fl. Oz
  • Diaper Care Cream 1.76 Oz
  • Laundry Detergent 42.3 Fl. Oz

I love that this kit contains essentials we use on a regular basis. I’m a fan of practical, and the Family Care Kit is just that! They are products we will use and no products that we won’t use. They are products we will use continuously which makes the monthly delivery that much more convenient! When you start to get low you’ll receive your next shipment and be ready to go again! We are a family of five and everybody in the family is using the EverydayHappy regularly. They definitely last a while!
Each product has a nice, light scent. It isn’t overbearing and doesn’t have that chemical perfumes that aren’t only unnatural but could contain harmful ingredients as well. “Fragrance” isn’t an ingredient that is highly regulated. In fact, the word “Fragrance” can be a combination of ingredients that are potentially harmful.
EverydayHappy Review
The Shampoo & Body Wash all have a great consistency – not too thin or too thick, and you really don’t need to use a lot. It is perfect for young children. Our boys, in particular, don’t need a separate shampoo. My husband uses it for both a shampoo and body wash as well! I use it as body wash.
The Liquid Hand Soap has a consistency similar to the Shampoo & Body Wash and doesn’t require using a lot either. I poured it from the bottle into our soap dispenser, and it works well. It’s not too thick to where it’s hard to use in the dispenser, but it doesn’t come out runny either. Both the Shampoo & Body Wash and Liquid Hand Soap are clear and don’t contain any artificial colors.
The Laundry Detergent is clear as well. It is 2x concentrated which means we can use less! At first, I was surprised to see how small the bottle is, but once I started using it, I understood why! We do a lot of laundry around here, and I love a laundry detergent I can stretch for a length of time! It has a nice, clean scent and is effective.
The Face & Body Lotion has a nice, thin consistency that makes it easy to apply. It goes on nicely and doesn’t leave the skin feeling greasy and absorbs quickly. It leaves the skin feeling soft. I have major issues with dry skin right now. In fact, I get terribly itchy because of it. Using this lotion has been so helpful!
Overall, we have definitely been loving the EverydayHappy Family products. I love the care they take into offering natural products for families. Additionally they have partnered with UNICEF to help those in need, which I think is amazing!

I am sending for the free trials of their products, all of them. I think this is the smartest way to promote new products, to get them out into the hands of people to try them.

I like that there are products that do not have all those chemicals in them. I am sensitive to a lot of laundry detergents & some soaps, so I have to read ingredient lists all the time. If I can read the list & know what it is, I usually have no problems.

My family and I have had been given the genes of a family line of major issues relating to dry skin. The Face & Body Lotion appears to have a nice, thin consistency which will make applying simple and quick. But I love how you stated it goes on nicely and doesn’t leave the skin feeling greasy and absorbs quickly – there’s nothing like the feeling of soft skin.

As much as I want to win, I think I may order a sample trial also. I like what you wrote about the body lotion. I have a hard time with the greasy feeling

    • Emilee says

I think it would be worth it to get a sample trial. Then if you do win you would know for sure that’s the kit you’d like to choose or if you might prefer one of the other kits!

I like how you mention that there are “no products that [your family] won’t use,” and that you commented on the smell being noticeable and pleasant, but not overpowering. And I agree– it’s so nice to know and feel truly reassured that when cleaning your home (something that we tend to think is a GOOD thing!), you’re not using something that’s actually a potential danger!

    • Emilee says

      March 12, 2016 at 12:25 am

I agree. It’s unnerving to learn what is in some cleaners and wondering how it may affect our family (including our pets!).
