Fashionable Products for Busy Moms

December 19, 2014 by Emilee Evans

Ah motherhood! It is such a joyous experience! At times it can also be limiting. Moms with babies toting around diaper bags full of all kinds of baby stuff from diapers and wipes to bottles. I even toted around my portable breast pump! Moving past the baby stage to toddlers and preschoolers who are potty training or need to use the potty frequently, and some days you feel like you can’t get out of the house!
Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate my Kalencom review. Regardless, all opinions are my own.
KalencomKalencom offers practical and stylish products that are perfect for moms on the go. Their stylish diaper bags are available in so many patterns and styles. They look so nice you can barely tell they are diaper bags! Yet they offer everything a mom needs in a diaper bag like a changing pad, insulated pockets for bottles, and plenty of room!
Do you have a potty training toddler or a young child that needs to use the potty frequently? Kalencom offers the Potette Plus – a portable and flexible solution! Use it on your toilet seat to create a smaller seat for your little one or take it on the go as a small portable potty with disposable liners!
For my review I received the Nola Tote Diaper Bag and a Potette Plus.
Kalencom Review

Stylish Diaper Bag

The Nola Tote Diaper Bag is absolutely gorgeous! When I think of “diaper bag” I don’t generally think of a bag so stylish! I would have loved to have this bag when our little ones were babies because not only does it look good, but it is everything I would look for in a diaper bag. Plus it’s eco-friendly! Kalencom diaper bags are AZO-free and utilize no Phthalates!
Kalencom Review Nola Tote Diaper Bag
The bag liner is a corresponding color and includes matching changing pad. The changing pad is soft and folds and unfolds easily. It has multiple interior pockets and a large slip pocket that is perfect for items you need quickly. There is plenty of space for personal stuff as well! Who wants to carry a diaper bag and a purse? With the Nola Tote you don’t have to because there is plenty of room for both mom’s and baby’s stuff!
Nola Tote Diaper Bag
It also has two insulated pockets on the outside for bottles which are easy and convenient. My younger children basically refused to use bottles, but I wasn’t able to nurse our oldest, so we used plenty of them! The bag I had contained pockets on the inside of the bag, and even though they were off to the side I still had to dig around to get them out! Pockets on the outside are a huge advantage! Even as a nursing mom I would have used these pockets for extra quick grab items like burp rags, teethers, favorite toys, etc.
Nola Tote Diaper Bag Bottle Pockets
In fact, I’m pretty sure the Nola Tote would have been my dream diaper bag. Plus, because it’s so stylish you could continue to use it after babies grow up. It makes a great, roomy purse. Besides, are we ever done carrying around wipes, snacks, and toys? Our youngest is 4, and I still pack quite a few things for cleaning and entertaining!

Potette

I was so intrigued by the Potette! Although all of our children are older and potty trained (Phew!) I could see SO many uses for it!
For one, we’re an outdoors kind of family. We love being outside and doing things together like fishing. Sometimes, though, that means not a potty in sight! Many times we had to pack up and go home early because we definitely can’t expect young kids to just hold it! The Potette would be a perfect portable solution for times like that!
Potette Plus Review
To prepare the Potette for portable use with the disposable liners is simple. You just unfold the legs, snap them down into place, and then put the liner on top securing it to the potty. Easy! Then dispose of the waste. The liners tie for disposal. When you’re finished you can pull the legs back down (I found this to be a little challenging at first but eventually got the hang of it), fold them back in, and put the Potette back in its bag that is included with it. It would be great for potty training, too! No more scrubbing the little potties!
Potette Plus Portable Potty
I love that the Potette is so portable because our preschooler despises public toilets – particular the u-shaped kind. I’m not a big fan of holding him over said toilets. Now I can just put the Potette on the toilets. The legs fold out so it can be used on the toilet, which also offers little handles! If they’ve been using the Potette for potty training it would also be perfect for the transition to the big potty!
Overall, I’m so impressed by what Kalencom offers and love the products I received. They’re innovative, stylish, and provide everything moms including flexibility! If you have a mom with little ones or an expecting mom on your gift list, Kalencom products would make fantastic gifts!

This is so amazing. I need to get one of these for my daughter. She has a 10 month old and another due in 3 months. She really needs something this good. Since she likes to be stylish this would be for her. The toilette is amazing .

Thanks for the Terrific Review on Fashionable Products for Busy Moms! I absolutely love this diaper bag, although it doesn’t really look like a typical diaper bag! I also love the whole little potty thing! I’m not a fan of public toilets and when my kids were little, they hated when I would put down the protector and paper so that they could go! I wish they would have had something like this years ago! I know what you mean about carrying stuff even as the kids get older! I always carry some kind of wipes and tissues and, if we’re going on a bit of a ride, I always pack a treat! Purchasing a treat at the malls is outrageous! The prices they get for things almost gives me a heart attack!!! Thanks so much for the Terrific Review and all that information and pictures you have shown us on this diaper bag! I truly do appreciate it! Thanks again, Michele 🙂
