Firmoo Glasses Review

Firmoo is the World’s Most Popular Online Eyeglass Store. They have prescription eyewear from $8 and offer a first pair free program. They want to make sure quality eyewear is available to everyone at affordable prices.
I ordered my first pair free glasses back in April. I had been working with Firmoo as a blogger so was already aware of their first pair free program. It only made sense that when I needed to order a pair of glasses I would check it out! I generally wear contacts, but I was in desperate need of a good pair of glasses! I did opt to pay for thinner lenses because I have a VERY high prescription. You know the big “E” at the top of the chart? I haven’t been able to see it clearly since I was a pre-teen, and that was many years ago! I was absolutely amazed at the cost of the ultra-thin lenses! I actually priced them at the optical shop next to my eye doctor, and the cost was over a $100 difference – and with them, I would have still had to pay for my frames as well! So when Firmoo says they are affordable, I can definitely attest to that! My total at the optical shop would have been over $300, and with Firmoo I used the first pair free and paid extra for the thin lenses for a total of less than $50! What a HUGE difference!
In addition to your prescription Firmoo also uses your PD (or Pupillary Distance), which is important for accuracy. Unfortunately, many optometrists don’t give you this number, though. So, they offer instructions on finding your PD, and when you are shopping for glasses it shows you what PD are best for those frames. You can also use their Virtual Try-On system and even get opinions from your friends! Firmoo really has taken online glasses shopping to the next level!

These are the glasses I chose for my first pair free:

In order to facilitate a review I also got to choose 2 pairs of glasses. I opted to choose a pair of prescription glasses so I could have 2 pairs as well as a pair of sunglasses, which I also need! For my prescription glasses I decided to go with the included lenses this time since I was choosing another pair of thick frames. The lenses do still stick out beyond the frame, but that is a chance I knew I was taking. Since I had just gotten my other pair a month prior, I figured it would be OK. Although they are thick, they are surprisingly not very heavy, which is a huge plus. I chose this gorgeous black and red pair. Red is my favorite color, so I was in love immediately. I also love that frame temples/arms have a beautiful design in them! These frames were at the larger end of what is recommended for my PD, but I still think they look nice, and they are definitely stylish!

For the sunglasses you can also choose additional options such as: prescription lenses, UV protection, Polarized, etc. I just got the basic, which are zero-powered lenses with gradient tinting. I chose these gorgeous ivory and red sunglasses. They are very light-weight and comfortable, and I absolutely love the gradient tinting.

That’s great! I didn’t know about Firmoo and my bf doesn’t have coverage for glasses. I will have to tell him! Thanks!

I’m glad that you’ve showed that these are decent glasses…I’ve wondered if the glasses shown on these different sites were of a decent and durable quality, or even attractive..lol.. thanks for enlightening all of us 🙂
