Fizzion Eco-Friendly Cleaner Review

As you probably know, we’re a family that uses eco-friendly products. When I heard about Fizzion I was definitely excited to try it! Not only do they offer eco-friendly cleaning products, but those products are also backed by some amazing testimonials and awards. I also appreciate that they not only offer eco-friendly products but great information about what it means to be green as well!
I had a chance to review their Pet Stain & Odor Remover and Drop & Mop Home. We have all linoleum floors (yes, even in the bedrooms), and one big white area rug in the living room, and a few smaller rugs in each bathroom and bedroom. I know getting a white rug isn’t ideal when you have three young children, a mastiff, and a cat, but it’s the only rug I found that not only matched our style but also had nice material on the bottom that makes it stay in place. Those things you can buy separately just don’t work well on this linoleum! So, needless to say, I could put the products to the test!

For one, the kids had a great time watching the tablets dissolve. Plus they really loved that Garfield is on the packaging. We’re big Garfield fans here. So, that was really exciting for everyone, but how about the cleaner? I didn’t have any major stains or spills to report, which is particularly odd since we usually have one every day. I’m not complaining, but I was hoping to have a great before and after picture of a major spill or mess on the rug. Although I don’t have one I did use it for cleaning up the not so visual (but still unpleasant) mess that is our mastiff’s drool. When she sleeps she sometimes drools all over the rug. Since it’s the softest spot in the house she is always sleeping there. It STINKS.
Before we would often haul the entire rug outside (it’s over 6 ft long on one side) to give it a good scrub because there wasn’t a spot cleaner I could use that I felt comfortable with the ingredients. So I relied on natural soaps and a a big ordeal. Not only was I able to clean the drool out of the rug for an instant clean, but I also noticed it can be used as a deodorizer as well! You simply spray it on and let it dry! Talk about a MUCH better solution than hauling that huge rug outside a couple times a week (or more)! My husband even used it on the kitchen counters because he assumed it was an all-purpose cleaner. Although it doesn’t mention use on counters it actually cleaned it nicely!
Next, I tackled the linoleum. Mopping is one of the chores I hate most – not just because there is so much floor to mop but because there are often messes I’m not aware of until they’re already sticky and will take a little more oomph to get them out! I find linoleum a little harder to clean than tile and other hard floor surfaces. Because of my chronic pain disorder really scrubbing can be hard on my hands and back, so a good cleaner can make a big difference. I was really happy with the Fizzion Drop & Mop. You simply add the tablet to the container in your spray mop, let it dissolve, and then you’re ready to go!
Although I’m a little embarrassed to share one of these typical sticky, dirty messes that happen around here it’s a good opportunity to see how well the Fizzion Drop & Mop works! Not only did I not have to scrub the same spot over and over and over again, but it made the floor shiny, too!
