I was recently contacted by one of my readers (thank-you!) who noticed I do reviews for natural products and suggested I check out Indie Lee. I love learning about other natural products and continue to get excited when I see more awareness being spread about good ingredients and ingredients to avoid, and when I visited Indie Lee’s Website the first thing that stood out to me was this was not just a place to shop for natural products it also had a lot of educational value!
She is not only very informative on the good ingredients as well as ingredients to avoid she adds even more to her learning center by including wonderful Resources as well as tutorials on how to make your own natural products! I was just overall amazed by her website and so excited to have been introduced to it! I explored the whole site! I discovered her story and her mission to natural products began after having been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Our journey for natural products also began with cancer – my husband’s. I appreciate her passion for education, awareness, and overall natural beauty!
When I contacted Indie Lee I was given a choice of what product(s) I would like to try! Wow! It was so hard to choose! There are just so many wonderful products available! We had a pressing problem, though – our toddler was constantly battling a red bottom! When I saw there was a Diaper Balm, I knew I wanted to try it! The ingredients also appeared to be cloth diaper friendly! There are so many diaper treatments out there that are supposed to be cloth diaper friendly, but I still find myself using liners or just fully using disposables while it clears up. This just isn’t ideal for me, but I wanted to try everything! Not only that, but everything I had been trying wasn’t working!
Was it a yeast rash? No, the anti-fungal creams weren’t helping either! He just has super sensitive skin! I noticed the Diaper Balm didn’t have any claims to help diaper rash rather just apply between diaper changes, so I honestly didn’t know what to expect, but with ingredients that natural I knew I had to try it!
When I got the package – I was SO excited! I couldn’t wait to open it! I was also sent a couple of wonderful product to try for myself. The first thing that caught my eye was the beautiful packaging! I was excited to try everything! I tried the Diaper Balm immediately that night. I was very pleased with the balm consistency because, let’s face it, those creams can get out of hand! They’re messy, don’t generally smell good, and hard to wash off. This balm was not messy, easy to apply, smelled good, and didn’t leave a residue on my hands. I was about to put it to a BIG test, though! Night time is obviously hard when your toddler has irritation in the diaper area because they wear that diaper for a longer period of time. Wouldn’t you know he woke up and WASN’T RED!
I admit I was a little shocked! Because our toddler also has sensory concerns the irritation is pure torture for him. It was breaking my heart that he cried every time I changed his diaper! So not only was he not red, but I also didn’t have to fight him during a diaper change and feel horrible knowing he was hurting so much! Not only has it been wonderful for keeping his diaper area free of irritation I did not experience a single leak with our cloth diapers! Again, something I hadn’t experienced before. Even most “cloth diaper safe” creams caused a little bit of repelling, so I was extremely excited! What a pleasant experience!
The other products I got to try for myself were the Coconut Citrus Body Scrub and Lavender Moisturizing Oil. I have purchased natural Body Scrubs in the past, and although I appreciated the ingredients the consistency hasn’t always been desirable. Sometimes I loved the consistency of the Body Scrub, and the light Coconut Citrus scent was wonderful! The moisturizing oil glides on nicely and has the wonderful lavender scent – my favorite scent! ๐ It makes my skin feel so soft!
I am so excited to have found not only these wonderful natural products but also the wealth of information she has put on her website! Thank-you, Indie Lee, for this wonderful opportunity to review your products and sharing your passion and all the wonderful resources!
I’ve got to try these–thank you for the tip. What a well written review!
You’re welcome! ๐
This diaper balm looks like something my daughter in law may want to try with our granddaughter! She also tends to get diaper irritation easily! I will definitely recommend it to her!

I have never heard of Indie Lee before. I am particular about what I use on my face because it never fails that I always turn red or break out the next day. I will have to check them out, thanks!

The products sound very nice! SO many products leave you feeling greasy instead of soft. The coconut citrus body scrub sounds interesting. I’m going to check them out!
I would love to try the Lavender Oil. I can think of a million uses for that!
This looks like a great product. You do wonderful reviews.
