Lilla Rose Flexi Clip Review

February 23, 2013 by Emilee Evans

Lilla Rose Offers an array of hair products including their popular Flexi Clip, which I was excited to try. They come in a large variety of designs and many colors. They are truly unique. The beaded wire flexes around the hair, and their patent pending sliding pin holds it together. You can wear it in a variety of hairstyles and will barely notice you have it in! They also offer sizing videos to make sure you get the correct size clip! I found it very helpful when choosing my Flexi Clip.
For my review I received the Classic Etched Cross Flexi Clip. After watching the videos I chose a size Medium because I have REALLY thick hair. Some hair types actually use different sizes for their half up and their pony tail, and to be honest, I wasn’t sure if that would be the case for me or not. I knew, regardless, the Medium would definitely work for my pony tail, which is often my hairstyle of choice! The day I received my Flexi Clip in the mail I actually had my hair half up with a regular hair band. I quickly took it out and put the Flexi Clip on. I was surprised how easy it was to put on! I was also surprised at how light it is! One of the problems I have with wearing my hair up is because it is so thick the hair bands are often tight, and it sometimes even gives me a headache. At the very least it often hurts my head. I noticed immediate relief when switching to the Flexi Clip. My concern then was if it feels so light and isn’t pulling and hurting would it fall out? I did, after all, get it knowing the Medium may be too large for my half up. Well, it wasn’t. It worked nicely! I wore it the rest of the day and had absolutely no issues with it slipping or coming loose. It was perfect!
I did try it on my pony tail as well, of course, and again, I was pleasantly surprised! It was a little harder to put in for the pony tail the first couple of times, but after that I got it without anymore issues! Again, it feels like I’m barely wearing anything, but it holds my pony tail well without any issues of loosening or slipping! No more of the tight hair bands and headaches! It’s great! Plus it’s just gorgeous! There were so many styles it was hard to choose, but I’ve already gotten so many complements on my Flexi Clip! I can’t wait to get more so I can have a variety! I was eying some of their hair sticks as well! Plus I really want to get a cute Flexi Clip or their Bobbies for our 5 year old because I never know what to do with her hair, and these would be such an awesome solution.

I learned that the man who has designed these was barely making it. He went to a local flea market with his products, then to a farmer’s market to demonstrate the product and now has made a lot of money.

Saw the Rosey Heart and love it but apparently it’s only a monthly item. Hope to be able to order it in their regular items. Thanks for the chance.
