Magic Whiteboard Review

February 4, 2013 by Emilee Evans

As a busy homeschooling family we sometimes need to do schooling on the go. Because our oldest 2 our at the same grade level I often use a whiteboard in my teaching. It not only saves me from going back and forth between them but also helps them because they are both very visual learners. Magic Whiteboard Products offers ideal solutions for a Whiteboard on the go!

We used to have a portable whiteboard, but unless you were setting up for something big it wasn’t worth hauling it around. Generally when we’re doing a few lessons away from home it’s at times like when we’re in a waiting room at a Dr.’s office or a short trip to visit family. A big whiteboard definitely isn’t ideal in either situation. I was definitely excited to see what Magic Whiteboard was all about!

For my review I received a small magic whiteboard and dry erase marker. One thing I found really convenient, which you may notice in the picture above, is I didn’t have to use anything to hang it! It actually just sticks to hard surfaces using static cling! You could also use it on a binder as well, which is something else we did when using it out of the house. It clung nicely to the binder as well!
The marker that I received for my review was a black dry erase marker. It worked well and has a medium tip, which is what I prefer to use. For erasing I just used tissue, and that worked great! Our big eraser that we use on our regular board isn’t ideal for on the go, and it tends to smear the colors it last erased!
Upon visiting their website I noticed they also offer blackboard style as well and special chalk markers! I think Magic Whiteboard products are a great idea so if you have to take your homeschooling on the go or even to teach lessons at a Co-Op where a board might not be available you have a quick, easy, and easily portable solution!
