Minky Chic Review

March 19, 2014 by Emilee Evans

Disclosure: I received a Minky Toddler Blanket to facilitate my Minky Blanket Review. Regardless, all opinions are my own and those of my family.
Minky Chic
I first came across minky when we were using cloth diapers, and I fell in love. It is so incredibly soft. I decided it is definitely my favorite material. When I was presented with the opportunity to review a Minky Blanket from Minky Chic I was excited to check them out. Minky Chic offers a variety of beautiful blanket with minky fabric.
Minky Chic blankets are all handmade in the USA from imported fabric and are machine washable. They offer minky baby blankets, toddler blankets, throws and more with beautiful patterns and color options. There is a section for blankets that have satin as well, and you can add ruffles to many of the blankets.
For our review we received a Minky Toddler Blanket.
Minky Blanket Review
Since I run a small sewing/crafting business I have to say I was really impressed by the way the blanket was packaged. It was presented so beautifully and professionally I almost didn’t want to open it! Of course, as soon as our daughter saw it, she asked to have it right away so she could put it on her bed. The toddler blanket is 42″ x 56″, so it’s a generous size to where she can use it on her bed but also bring it to the couch to cuddle or even on a trip if we go somewhere.
Because she has Sensory Processing Disorder texture is important, and the soft minky is perfect for her. There are no complaints of being itchy, and the top is slightly textured due to the particular print, so it even offers sensory input when she rubs her hands over it. She really fell in love with it quickly and started telling everyone all about it and has to show it to everyone that comes over!
Minky Chic Blanket
If you’re looking for a beautiful, soft blanket, I would definitely recommend Minky Chic. They would make a great gift for Easter, too, which is right around the corner!

What a beautiful blanket. I visited the site and found so many beautiful blankets that it would be hard to choose. I finally decided that the FRESA MADRID MINKY BLANKETS was my favorite.

I fell in love with minky seven years ago when I bought my grandson one when he was born. Then I bought one two years ago for my granddaughter when she was born. My daughter is expecting my granddaughter in April, and I will definitely have to get her one. They really stand the test of time. My grandson’s still loves great and is still super soft still!

I knew I would like to have the Minky Blanket when I read about how soft it is. I love the different modern designs they come in too. But it was the softness that got me. I would give to my new grandchild. They should make them for grown ups too.
