Montagne Jeunesse Face Mask Review

January 17, 2013 by Emilee Evans

face mask
I have always enjoyed using mud masks and peeling face masks. Montagne Jeunesse offers affordable options and a wide variety of face masks! Whether you enjoy looking after your skin, or being pampered, you will absolutely enjoy one of these “Life’s Little Pleasures”! With a huge array to choose from, their face masques are packed with the most delicious natural ingredients and are bursting with luscious fragrances. Suitable for all different skin types, there is one to suit every mood and everybody!

My review:

I received the Aloe Vera and Willow Clean Up Mud mask in my influenster Holiday VoxBox. I had never tried this particular mask before, but when I saw it can help problem areas, I was really excited. My face tends to break out (totally not fair when you’re in your 30’s!!), so anything that could help is worth a try! I generally prefer peel masks (which they also offer), but I was excited to try this mask nonetheless. It was really smooth to apply! There is so much product in there you could easily share it with someone and have a “mask party” – like I tend to share mine with my husband! He volunteered to be the photographer for this one, though!

mud mask

Overall, I really enjoyed the Aloe Vera and Willow mud mask! Not only did it go on easily and smoothly, but it also had a really nice scent. Plus, I love that they use natural ingredients! Montagne Jeunesse beauty treats are free of parabens, vegetarian approved and never tested on animals. After applying it you allow it to set for 10-15 minutes. I applied mine pretty thick, so it was closer to the 15 minute mark when it was ready to be washed off. You can tell because as it dries it hardens as well. It rinsed off really easily as well. I ran water over my face a few times and then wiped off the remaining spots with a washcloth. My face felt SO smooth! I also noticed that within a few hours my break out looked much calmer! I was ready to get more of these masks to use one every day! I didn’t notice they make one specifically for breakouts as well, so I’m going to check that out, too. It really is accurate to say these masks are great whether you just want to pamper yourself or for regular skin care maintenance! If you’ve never tried one before, I would definitely recommend it!
Montagne Jeunesse masks can be purchased for under $2.00 at Wal-Mart, Ulta, Kroger, Walgreens, and CVS!

I like to use a face mask, espcially the peel-off type. They seem to remove all the dry flakes and leave my face feeling so smooth.

I like the clay-type masks. I have seen these in my local srugstore but noever tried them. Next time I stop in, I will get one or two!
