I was really excited to check out the Ozeri INSTAVAC Green Earth Food Storage Container Set. When I cook big meals, I don’t mind making extra so I can store some for later. I’m also a big fan of preparing meals for the freezer so I have them when needed in a busy time. Unfortunately, reliable containers aren’t something I have found. They’re too flimsy, can’t be used in the microwave, don’t hold up in the freezer, or they don’t seal well enough.
The Ozeri INSTAVAC Green Earth Food Storage Container Set is exactly what I’ve been needing! It comes in a set of four with easy to use vacuum seal system lids. I love that there are no machines required! They are simple to use and keep the air out! Each lid also has a dial on the top so you can keep track of how many days it has been in the refrigerator or freezer, which is a great feature for busy moms like me who can’t seem to remember that type of stuff – or is that just me? Well, now I don’t have to!

Thanksgiving leftovers? Now I have them stored without worrying that they’ll go bad because the container isn’t sealed well or wondering if I should throw it out because I couldn’t remember how long it’s been in the refrigerator. Plus they also have a wave patterned bottom that keeps cut fruit and vegetables elevated from the deteriorating effects of water and juices which can collect at the bottom over time.
I like that there are a variety of sizes so I can store a lot or a little. Plus I love that they are dishwasher and microwave safe, too. It just makes them that much more convenient! I can just take them straight out of the refrigerator and into the microwave. I’m always a fan of products I can wash in the dishwasher because it really saves me a lot of time.
