Pay in Style with CARD.com

September 22, 2013 by Emilee Evans

This is a sponsored review. Regardless, I only recommend products I feel would be good for my readers. For more information please see my Disclosure Policy.
Do you get bored with your bank’s debit card? I know ours is REALLY boring. We don’t have any choice at all. It’s just plain blue. Nothing else at all!
Well, wouldn’t it be fun to spruce it up a bit? CARD.com offers a large variety of prepaid debit cards that are fun to use! Whether you like animals, art, TV, nature, city, sports, flags, or whatever you may like, they have something for you! They even have cards for causes! CARD.com makes it easy to pick a debit card you will enjoy with their easy drop-down category menu or even by using the search feature if you have something particular in mind. For my card I chose a familiar favorite – Care Bears!
Visa prepaid cards from CARD.com
With a CARD.com prepaid Visa card you can use it anywhere Visa is accepted. You can easily set up direct deposit so your CARD.com account has available funds. CARD.com functions just as any bank card would. You can withdrawal cash at an ATM by using your pin number. You can also load cash onto your card at Western Union® or with a Green Dot® MoneyPak®. Funds are FDIC Insured through the Bancorp Bank. In short, it is just like having a bank credit/debit card without the overdraft fees (the card never goes negative) or any other bank fees.
If you’re sick of going to the corner store to cash your paychecks for them to only take a percentage for cashing it, CARD.com would be the perfect solution! It’s so easy to set up direct deposit! They send a form that you simply have to give to your employer! It’s also a great option if you run an independent business and want to keep your personal funds separate from your business funds! You can link it up to your bank or PayPal account as well so you can easily transfer funds!
Did I mention they also have a lot of really awesome designs? When I say “a lot,” I mean they have thousands! I’m seriously in love with my Care Bears design – even if it did take me a long time to choose! There were so many that I liked it was hard to narrow it down! I grew up watching Care Bears, though, and now my kids also love them. I knew that would be a good choice!
Visa prepaid cards from CARD.com
CARD.com cards shouldn’t be confused with prepaid cards that can be given as a gift and thrown away. That is definitely not the case. CARD.com cards are meant to be used over and over again. Who wouldn’t want to show off that fancy card over and over again? Once you have a CARD.com card you have an account with CARD.com. You can check your balance from the cloud – on your computer or your mobile device. It’s just like having a bank account without all the fees and hassle. Plus there is no credit check!

I know! Isn’t it awesome? There are a few different Care Bears styles, too!

That is too cute for sure! I think this would be great for people that are getting back on their feet and cannot get a checking account.

How cute!!! I always thought it would be awesome to have a funny picture of myself in my credit card. Does card.com allow that? Or you have to pick one of the predefined images?

Yes, they are all predefined, but that would be a really awesome idea! The nice thing is, they let you submit those kind of ideas and run them by their design team!

These are also good for people that work online (like bloggers!) and get paid via paypal, since you can uploads funds to your card so you can use your funds out and about in the “real” world. 🙂

I like this. Somehow paying with a card that’s meaningful to you might take the sting out of paying a little bit. I would SO get the Star Trek card with Spock on it. Live Long and Prosper!

I would love the David & Goliath card. Sometimes I feel like It’s me against the enemy & all I have is a sling shot. But look what David did when he put his trust in God.
