Pick-Ease Kid Friendly Toothpick Great for Picky Eaters

November 30, 2014 by Emilee Evans

Do you have a picky eater? Finding ways to encourage them to eat can be exhausting. What works one day may not work the next! Pick-Ease was invented with picky eaters in mind!
Pick-Ease Logo
Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate my Pick-Ease review. Regardless, all opinions are my own and those of my family.
Kids love eating things with toothpicks, right? I know our kids do, and I even remember being drawn to foods with toothpicks when I was a kid. Toothpicks themselves aren’t safe, and breaking off the ends is time consuming (and doesn’t exactly make them much safer). Pick-Ease offers a fun, safer solution – a kid friendly toothpick.

When I was contacted to review Pick-Ease I was excited by both the products and story behind the products. What a great idea to both appease picky eaters and rock as a mompreneur! Pick-Ease come(s) in a variety of styles perfect for a range of ages! All three of our children (ages 4, 6, and 8) have been using (and loving!) Pick-Ease!
For our review we received 3 packs of Pick-Ease, and there was one pack that was perfect for each child!
Pick-Ease Review
Our daughter obviously claimed the girly Pick-Ease, our oldest son wanted the sports, and our youngest son wanted the animals, though he likes to use his big brother’s sports Pick-Ease as well when they’re not in use!
Pick-Ease can be used with a variety of foods, though we seem to use them most with fruits. Chaz loves to eat apple slices, strawberries, and bananas with his Pick-Ease!
Pick-Ease for Picky Eaters
Chaz will (usually) eat his fruit regardless, though, so Pick-Ease offers a more fun and less messy way to eat them! He is picky with other foods, though, so I have found Pick-Ease to be helpful for encouraging him to eat those foods. Foods he used to love, like chicken for example, are now on his “I don’t like it” list, and Pick-Ease is helping to bring it back on his list of foods he will eat.
I simply have to cut it up into bite size pieces, give him his Pick-Ease, and dinner just became more appealing! He simply uses the Pick-Ease to pick up the pieces versus using a fork. Much more fun, right? He definitely thinks so!
Our older two aren’t picky eaters, but they still have fun using their Pick-Ease! I actually like that it encourages them to use their fine-motor skills as well!
Pick-Ease are a fun, unique child safe toothpick to encourage kids to eat and enjoy it! If you have picky eaters (or any child really!) on your Christmas list, Pick-Ease would make great gifts!

I actually think I may look into getting these for my granddaughter. I think she would really enjoy eating with these, and it might get her tto eat more veges and fruits.

Thanks for the terrific Review on Pick-Ease Kid Friendly Toothpick Great for Picky Eaters! I got a set of these for my Grandson for Christmas. He just threw them aside and my daughter asked what they were. I explained the concept behind the Pick-Ease and told her that she should cut his food at dinner and give him the pick-ease to “stab” his food and eat it! In my mind I was thinking and hoping that he would start eating better and different foods! He is so picky! He will only eat certain things and that’s it! I’m hoping that once they get back home and settled in, my daughter tries to feed him with this pick-ease! Thanks so much for your review on them! I really do appreciate it! Thanks again, Michele ๐Ÿ™‚

This is a great idea! I like the idea of toothpicks but the fact that they break and can be sharp makes me wary. Great product!

My youngest is nearly 9 and still prefers to eat with her fingers. I think this would help transition her from that to a fork.

Thanks so much, Emilee, for the Terrific Review on Pick-Ease! I bought a set of these Pick-Ease Kid Friendly Toothpicks for my grandson for Christmas! I have no idea if my daughter has even used them yet! They were on the floor here and my daughter asked me what that was. I explained to her that they are for picky eaters, like Nolan, to give them a “little bit of fun” eating food! I told her that he needs to start eating vegetables and things that are way more better for him! Nolan ONLY eats a few things: Pizza, Chicken Fingers, Grilled Cheese, Hot Dogs, and Eggs. That’s it! If it’s not one of those listed, he will not eat! My daughter will be calling here tomorrow 2/3 to talk to her father before his surgery on Wed 2/4 so I’m going to have to ask her about the Pick-Ease that I gave to Nolan at Christmas! Thanks so much for the terrific review and your personal experience with Pick-Ease as well as the information you shared with us! I honestly do appreciate it! Thanks again, Michele ๐Ÿ™‚
