ShiZZles Review

November 11, 2013 by Emilee Evans

Disclosure: I received the products mentioned to facilitate my review. Regardless, I only recommend products I feel would be good for my readers. All opinions are mine and those of my family.
Shizzles
I’m a t-shirt and jeans kind of gal, but I do have a couple of problems with t-shirts. For one, I want to be comfortable, but I don’t want to feel frumpy. I’d like to dress it up a little bit! Plus, I get hot easily, and sleeves can really be a bummer. My underarms get irritated REALLY easily, and the only way to prevent this is to make sure they aren’t getting rubbed by my sleeves! Owning only tank-tops or sleeveless shirts is unrealistic, and cutting the sleeves off makes shirts look shabby. Sure I could neatly sew them under, but who has the time?
Well, now there is a fun yet practical solution – ShiZZles! ShiZZles are like t-Shirt jewelry that you can use to scrunch up your sleeves and keep them up! Not only that, but they can also be used just to add a little pizazz to your look! You can even be creative and use them on your shoes, hair, wrist, or whatever else you come up with! That’s the great part! You can decide!
ShiZZles
For our review we received three sets of ShiZZles. I chose the “Autism Mom” set for myself, the “Hot Pink Frayed Flowers” for our 5 year-old daughter, and the “Pink Heart Mustaches” we both can use!
I love the “Autism Mom” ShiZZles because they represent a part of me, but also look night and are functional as well. It really is nice to be able to keep my sleeves up. This is even more true when my underarms are flared up like they have been! What a relief! Plus it’s a great conversation starter to raise awareness as well!
The frayed flowers are absolutely adorable! Aurora loves them and wants to wear them every day just because they are so pretty! She is very girly when it comes to fashion, so I was not surprised! She also is very petite, so the the frayed flowers come in handy for keeping her shirts from slouching down her arms. It’s so nice that she’s not constantly having to pull up her sleeves! So although she mostly likes them for the cute factor, I definitely like that they are helpful as well!
I chose the Pink Heart Mustaches because we love mustache designs – particularly since it’s Movember! In fact, I will be hosting a Movember giveaway really soon, and there will be a set of specifically the mustache ShiZZles just for Movember (that will be separate of the giveaway you will see below). They have a few really cute mustache designs! It was really hard to pick just one! Again, these could be used as a conversation starter. One thing is for sure – they are CUTE!
ShiZZles are very simple to use. You simply thread the elastic through the neck of your shirt and out the sleeve. Bring it up through and loop it on to the button or flower (or whatever your ShiZZle is)! That’s it!
We are loving our ShiZZles, and I can see so many great uses for them! I love that they offer both function and style! I think ShiZZles would make a great gift for any lady (or little lady) on your list!

Very cute! I would cost Pink glass and horse 4. I would use the pink glass on my shoes as well as using both in my 2 girls hair, for their shirts, shoes etc.

I would get the autism mom for me and wear as a bracelet or pony tail holder and give the other as a gift to my favorite horse lover.
