Are you searching for your new home? With all the information out there it can be exhausting. Searching classifieds can lead to dead ends and even scams. Our new neighbor got caught up in one, and it is not a fun situation, and you can lose a lot of money and even posessions! That's why it's best to turn to a trustworthy source like apartments.com! It is so easy to navigate, and you know they are trustworthy! You can customize your search results to fit your needs so you don't have to weed through listings you aren't interested in! As an added bonus – did you know they now offer a mobile app on iPhone, iPad, and Android? So if you're out searching and have extra time to stop in to check out places in person you can simply bring up the app and find what is nearby that fits your needs.

We will actually be moving whenever my husband's medical retirement from the military is complete, and I know how tedious looking for a rental can be. As I said, you find many properties that don't even fit your needs – or in some cases don't actually exist like scams in the classifieds. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that apartments.com not only has apartments in their directory but some single family homes as well! I also love all the details that are provided for the properties. Something we often run into is the pet policy as we have a cat and a LARGE dog. So I love that the information is right there in front of me. I don't have to make endless phone calls that go something like this

"Do you allow dogs over 100lbs?"

"No."

"Ok, thank-you."

Frustrating, right? I don't have time to make those phone calls! The listings often mention whether or not they accept large dogs as well as the weight limit as some consider 75-100lbs the largest they will accept. It's good to know this in advance so I do not waste my time!

So, if you're looking for your next home be sure to check out apartments.com! Follow them on Twitter for more information!
