Australian Natural Soap Review

December 18, 2012 by Emilee Evans

Soap

About Australian Natural Soap:

Did you know that a quality soap bar made from plant oils will not dry out your skin? You will use less lotion because you will not need it.
Their Australian made soap bar is French-milled (long lasting), made from plant oils, has a creamy moisturizing lather, and a luscious fragrance. Their affordable bars are a real treat. They have over 40 fragrances in unwrapped bars and 28 in the wrapped soap bars.

My review:

For my review I received 3 bars of soap: Lemon Myrtle, French Pear, and Wild Honeysuckle. The Lemon Myrtle and French Pear were unwrapped bars, and the Wild Honeysuckles was a wrapped bar. Just opening the package smelled so good! My “little reviewers” were right beside me, as usual, and were eager to smell each one. They agreed unanimously (as did my husband) that the Lemon Myrtle was their favorite scent. It has a nice, strong scent that was very pleasant – definitely not overwhelming. I generally don’t like lemon scents, but this isn’t a typical “lemon clean” type scent. It has a nice balance. The French Pear is my personal favorite. It has a sweet, light scent. I love pear scent, and this pear scent is a nice, natural pear scent. The Wild Honeysuckle has a nice light scent as well.
All of the soaps were comparable as far as performance. They all glide on smoothly and have a nice lather. The scents carry over nicely when used. What I mean by this is sometimes in a soap it smells wonderful, but when you use it the scent isn’t very prevalent during use. I like the scent to actually transfer to me, too! They left my skin feeling clean and smooth. I had no issues with dryness, and was surprised how soft my skin felt after. They were efficient without that drying feeling some soaps leave. I truly didn’t feel like I had to use lotion after using any of these soaps! I also noticed that these soaps don’t just seem to dissolve quickly.
I love natural soap, and I think Australian Natural Soap is a good find! They use 100% plant oils. Their soaps are gluten free, not tested on animals, and vegan friendly. The prices are fantastic compared to other natural soap I have purchased. The unwrapped bars retail for only $3.00, and the wrapped bars retail for only $3.95. They also offer a rewards program, free shipping on orders over $30, and a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
