Tree Hut Review and Giveaway

May 21, 2013 by Emilee Evans

Tree Hut
Tree Hut has introduced a new line of products that includes Olive Oil and Shea butter! Both are certified organic, and the combination of the two means smooth and radiant skin! They have introduced a full line of products for their Olive & Shea line! For my review I received the Olive & Shea Coconut Lime Shea Sugar Scrub. I absolutely love a good sugar scrub because my skin definitely benefits from exfoliation. Add in the benefits from Olive and Shea as well as:

  • Conditioned skin from the Coconut Extract
  • Moisturizing from the Safflower Seed Oil
  • Rejuvenation and anti-aging from the Evening Primrose Oil
  • Improved complexion from the Sweet Almond Oil
  • Moisturizing, protection, and antioxidants from the Macadamia Seed Oil
  • Detoxifying effects from the Orange Oil

And those are just a few of the benefits! I use the Olive & Shea Coconut Lime Shea Sugar Bath Scrub all over and have noticed a big difference in my skin. We have horrible water here, and a big problem I have is a negative skin reaction to the water, so in addition to the exfoliation detoxing is extremely beneficial for me. I couldn’t ask for a better combination of ingredients for my skin care needs. I have already noticed the bumps on my skin don’t look as inflamed as usual, and I don’t get out of the shower feeling extremely itchy all over. I get out of the shower, and my skin feels refreshed and soft instead of dry and itchy. It continues to feel soft the next day as well! I imagine using the products together as a set would be the most beneficial, so that is definitely something I am going to look into further.
My only concern is as an eco-conscious consumer is there are a couple of ingredients on my “caution” list. This is a product I do feel comfortable using on a semi-regular basis. It definitely does have some great points:

  • Paraben Free
  • DMDM Free
  • cruelty Free
  • made in the USA

Shea sugar scrub
