Campus Book Rentals
It’s that time of year where not only am I thinking about our new homeschool year, but many moms and dads are thinking about their next college semester or they are starting college for the first time next month! It used to be we thought of those just out of high school attending college, but there are MANY mom and dads, older adults, and single adults that have been out of high school for a few years that are just now starting college or are going back to further their education.
Something that is a burden for college goers both young and old is the cost of textbooks. You get your list for the semester, and after pricing your books you’re no longer worried about how you’ll do in your classes – you’re worried about paying for your textbooks! CampusBookRentals.com offers a better solution. You can rent your textbooks and not worry about the high prices and that awful feeling you get when you try to sell them back at the end of the semester to find out they aren’t buying back that particular book. That happened to me all the time!
There are many advantages to renting your college textbooks from CampusBookRentals.com. Here are just a few!

  • You save 40-90% off of bookstore prices.
  • You get free shipping both ways.
  • You can highlight in the textbooks. (A common misconception is that this isn’t allowable, but with CampusBookRentals.com it is!)
  • They offer flexible renting periods.
  • CampusBookRentals.com donates to Operation Smile with each textbook rented! How great is it that you can give back as well by renting your text books?
  • They offer the largest selection in the nation.

This is just a snippet of what they have to offer! Be sure to visit their website for the full list of benefits!

I think CampusBookRentals is a great idea for both busy parents furthering their education as well as young adults pursuing college. They offer many advantages and give back through Operation Smile as well! So if you are one of the many people who will be going back to college next semester and have been thinking about your college text books, be sure to check out CampusBookRentals.com.

College Students – Rent Your Textbooks!

November 19, 2012 by Emilee Evans

It feels like it was a long time ago that I was in college, but one thing I definitely remember (and am still paying for) is the cost of textbooks. It always seemed in my particular classes there was a new textbook EVERY semester, so I rarely made money back from my used books and couldn’t find used books for my next semester’s classes. It was so frustrating! When I learned about CampusBookRentals.com I thought “wow, what a great idea!” I have many friends taking classes right now, so I knew it was something worth sharing as well! My husband will be starting classes again soon as well! I definitely know there is a need in this area!
I was curious to see if I could find any textbooks I had used, but like I mentioned above, they were usually phased out the same semester they were introduced, and that was a long time ago. So I pulled up a general Business Statistics book (one of the many business classes I had taken). Wow, would I have loved to only pay that price!

A couple of other neat features I found about CampusBookRentals:

  • They have a referral program. Refer a friend and make cash!
  • They were noted as “One of America’s most promising countries” by Forbes Magazine.
  • Shipping is FREE both ways!
  • They have 30-Day Risk-Free Returns.
  • They offer to buy books you already have as well!
  • They offer a lot of perks. Monthly giveaways, textbook scholarships, shirts, and other prizes.
  • They have a “Making a Difference Program.” They have a partnership with Operation Smile. Operation Smile performs life changing cleft lip surgeries on children whose families could not otherwise afford it. The long term improvement in quality of life for the children that receive these surgeries is almost incomprehensible.

So not only do I think CampusBookRentals is a great idea I also love to know a company is backed up by good customer service and supports something so wonderful as Operation Smile! I know when my husband starts college we will definitely be using CampusBookRentals!
