Well, like with anything when you start to make changes it can be overwhelming! I have felt a bit of relief since my last announcement. Overall, though, I’m feeling overwhelmed. I have so much going on here on the website with the Reviews and Giveaways and being held to certain expectations that maybe I can’t deliver right now. I have updated my PR Friendly page at the bottom to reflect this. My goal is to bring products/giveaways that will both benefit my readers as well as helping to support small businesses with my Reviews and Giveaways. I will continue to do this because I’m loving it! I expected there will be some growing pains because that is exactly what Pea of Sweetness is doing right now – growing. It’s still very small in comparison to everything that’s out there, but I’m learning, connecting, networking, growing, etc. the best I can with the time I have! I’m learning to adjust our homeschooling schedule, doctors appointments, therapy appointments, workout schedule, business time schedule, housework, and just about every other schedule that exists and still have “me time” (I know you other moms are laughing right now. What is “me time” anyway? LOL) I played Diablo III last night for a little over an hour with my husband last night. I can’t remember the last time I did that! That used to be “our time” when the kids go to bed! We get on our computers and “nerd it up” together! haha I’ve been so busy with everything else that I was neglecting that time as well. It wasn’t just “me time,” it was “us time,” as crazy as it may sound to others out there that are probably thinking gaming isn’t exactly quality time, but we love it! 🙂 Oddly enough, the most interaction I’ve gotten on my Facebook Page in a while was when I posted about playing Diablo III. HAHAHA I’m not the only “gamer” out there I see! 😉

Special Thanks

I wanted to say Thank-you to those that have been so amazingly helpful over the last week when I’ve been feeling so overwhelmed – between the changes, hurting my neck, etc. (There are more changes to come, too, which is another special thanks to those that are still listening to all my random thoughts!) I appreciate all the wonderful bloggers I’ve connected with (please share your blog info in a comment so everyone can see how wonderful you are!), all of the wonderful business owners that are excited to participate in my reviews and giveaways (please share your business links below!), all of my readers, fans, friends, family, etc. Everyone has been so loving and patient as I grow my website, blog, my brand, my businesses, etc. THANK-YOU!!
My husband has been absolutely awesome through everything as we have prayed together to decide which direction to take, where to go from here, what to focus on, what to drop (like my previous announcement), what to offer and not offer, etc. I’m SO blessed to have such an amazing support in him! He’s my biggest fan! 🙂
I want to give a special thank-you to my friend Christi because she is just such an AMAZING supporter – she’s my most loyal customer, one of my best friends, and is just overall amazing as she listens to just about EVERY little thing I have on my mind, which is A LOT! They’re both part of an awesome little shopping group we have as well where we not only network together and share business advice, but we also share eco-friendly tips, “greener” living, natural products, etc. It’s awesome! 🙂 I’m sure I’ll do a little “feature” for each of our members as the group progresses! 🙂
