I am Second

August 18, 2013 by Emilee Evans

Disclosure: I received a bracelet and t-shirt in exchange for sharing a post about I am Second. Regardless, all opinions are my own.
I AM SECOND
I am Second shares authentic personal stories to help provide insight to those struggling with everyday living regardless of background or current life situation. It is a wonderful movement and is meant to inspire all people to live for God and others. There are many different stories to offer hope, help, and inspiration, and they are organized in such a way that they are easy to find so you can easily find the stories for which you are looking. Actors. Athletes. Musicians. Business leaders. Drug addicts. Your next-door neighbor. People like you.
Here are a couple of my favorites:
Scott Hamilton shares his story of cancer, his reoccurring brain tumor, and how it and his faith has all has played a role in his life. It’s such a beautiful and touching story! It really hits home for us as my husband is a 2x cancer survivor, and I don’t know how we would have made it through without God. View Scott’s story.
Bethany Hamilton shares her story of overcoming the loss of her arm to a shark when she was a rising surf star. She looked to God for strength and not only got back on her surf board but did so much more! She shares how God has worked through her to inspire others, and it truly is inspirational! View Bethany’s story.
I love what I am Second is doing to spread hope to others and spread the movement to live second – sharing stories of hope and faith! The website is so well organized with a wealth of resources. They also have people available to chat and answer spiritual questions as well 24 hours a day! Would you like the Live Second? There are so many ways to get involved! Take the Challenge, Volunteer, Join the Movement and more!
You CAN help! One way to help is to commit $2 every Tuesday to build film funds. Your contribution will be used to develop, produce and promote new films. Join the project and become an I am Second insider and get access to exclusive content on Facebook.
