I was recently in line at a Dunkin Donuts and could not help but notice that the man in front of me had a camouflage pattern iPhone case. Why would he need a camouflage phone? My curiosity got the best of me and I asked him. It turned out he was an avid hunter and not only was it a phone but it also was a turkey call. He had an app that made a turkey noise. It certainly got the attention of everyone in the place when he turned it on.
That got me to thinking, what does a person’s iPhone cases say about them? As I was leaving the Dunkin Donuts I walked by a row of tables with customers from all of the local offices enjoying some coffee. All of the iPhone cases that were displayed, proudly on the tables, were of the designer variety. I saw the MK gold buckle and I believe I even spotted a Louis Vuitton, but was not sure. Those cases said, “look at me I have a designer iPhone case.” No one else had theirs lying on the table.

Ideas for the Men
My friend has an iPhone case that can withstand falling from a ladder two stories to concrete and bounce without damage. He needs it because he is a contractor and drops everything off of ladders. Most male professionals like lawyers and business men have conservative black or grey cases that match their daily attire. On the weekends they probably switch to sports logos or pictures of the family.
Ideas for Moms & Professionals
I am sure that many Moms and grandparents have pictures of the kids on their custom iPhone cases from places like Tiny Prints. Professionals in creative fields like designers and artists would certainly have colorful phones with all types of patterns befitting their flair. A jeweler would probably have a bejeweled case. Many real estate and insurance sales people probably have their own pictures on their cases as they have their pictures on everything from cards to window signs to bus shelters.

They make custom iPhone cases with photos of everything today from one’s own collection or from stock photos on sites like Getty Images or Corbis. For chefs and foodies there are food motifs and patterns. Animal lovers have an entire menagerie to choose from and sports fans can have any team and even any player if they desire. You can find any sports team logo here on ESPN. Whatever is desired is available.
Now I am wondering what would be the appropriate iPhone case for me. Right now it’s a boring black hand-me-down case from my husband. It speaks nothing about me and I would really like to upgrade to a new personalized case. As a mom, I would very much enjoy a custom case with photos of my family, including the dog!
