Fun Hymns and Songs Activity Kit for Kids

February 10, 2015 by Emilee Evans

As a busy homeschool mom that is always planning and preparing activities I absolutely love resources that make it easy for me to get our kids involved in activities with very little preparation!
Hymns and Bible Songs Bible Activity Kit
Disclosure: As a Family Christian Blogger I received complimentary products to facilitate my Bible Activity Kit review. Regardless, all opinions are my own and those of my family. This post contains affiliate links.
Family Christian offers many great Christian resources for families and children including great activities for kids to help engage them in learning God’s Word.
For our review we received the Growing in Grace Hymns and Bible Songs Activity Kit. The kids were so excited to check it out they dove right into the activities before I could even snap a picture of the kit (hence the missing stickers). 😉 The kit includes a music CD, an activity book, 2 double-sided crayons, and 2 sticker sheets.
I allow our kids to choose the order of the activities, and they started with sticker activities because stickers are fun!
Hymns and Bible Songs Activity Kit
Activities vary from placing stickers based on a person’s action, what type of music note it is, dot-to-dots, games, mazes, coloring, tracing, choosing your favorite way to praise, and so much more! The activities are ideal for young children – preschool to early elementary age. Our 4 year old and 7 year old have been working together on the activities and helping each other, which is always nice! In fact, they’ve been working together so nicely, Bart wanted to relax next to them!
Hymns and Bible Songs Vol 1 Review
I love that in addition to the activities, there is the music CD as well. The kids can listen to the music while doing the activities or any time! Kids learn a lot through music, and I think it’s important to be sure they’re listening to the right music. The CD contains 20 different songs, and I have been singing along to most of them – now they are, too!
I think the Hymns and Bible Songs Activity Kit is a great Bible activity kit for encouraging kids to enjoy positive music and stay busy with activities that fun and faith-based. At under $10 it is an amazing value!
