Little Red Wagon App Review

February 17, 2013 by Emilee Evans

Little Red Wagon
The Little Red Wagon App is a cute, interactive App from Night & Day Studios with music from Cat Doorman you can download in the App Store. It takes a classic song and turns it into a fun interactive experience for kids! It is recommended for ages 2-6 and has fun artwork. When first clicking on the app your child can choose how they want to hear the song: guitar, piano, or the full band.

iPad App

Our two year old was the first to discover The Little Red Wagon app after I downloaded it, and once he started I had a hard time getting him to share! He loves how he can interact by touching the trees, making animals move, making the little girl laugh, loading the wagon with foods for the picnic, etc. Those are just a FEW of the things they can do! It’s really unique! Plus as they are interacting not only is the song playing, but the music notes as well as the lyrics actually appear at the bottom as well! So they’re actually seeing the song play out, which will help them read music! Eventually our five and six year olds got to play with it, too, and they also enjoyed it a lot. It always seems like they find something new to interact with each time they play it! It’s really fun when they play it together and make the discoveries together. I am always a fan of apps that help kids learn while having fun, and I think this is a great app for learning music, appreciating art, and having fun at the same time!
You can download The Little Red Wagon app from the App Store for only $2.99
