Probably one of the biggest challenges I have as someone who prefers natural products is finding natural dental care products. From wasteful plastic toothbrushes to toothpaste with questionable ingredients, it’s hard to sort through it all and find the ideal products! That is why I was excited to try the natural dental products
offered by Himalaya Herbal Healthcare.
Disclosure: I received this product for free from Moms Meet, May Media Group LLC, who received it directly from the manufacturer. As a Moms Meet blogger, I agree to use this product and post my honest opinion on my blog. The opinions posted are my own.
For my review I received a variety of products from Himalaya Herbal Healthcare – namely a variety of Himalaya Botanique toothpaste as well as a bamboo toothbrush, a sari bag and personal care bag.

For one, I was impressed that they offer so many varieties of their Himalaya Botanique toothpaste. One of the biggest challenges I have found is I may find a natural toothpaste I like but it’s only available in one or two varieties. The varieties I received to review include: the Complete Care toothpaste in Simply Spearmint, Simply Peppermint, Simply Cinnamon, and Simply Mint as well as the Whitening Complete Care Toothpaste in Simply Mint and Simply Peppermint. They offer basic varieties as well as the whitening toothpaste, which I think is unique. Whitening naturally? Yes, with pineapple and papaya enzymes!
Of course, the biggest thing I appreciate is they don’t have all the questionable ingredients I try to avoid. There is no fluoride, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or Carrageenan. They are also gluten-free as well. These ingredients are common in many toothpastes. Despite not having SLS, I found they all still “foam” a little bit. You really only need to use a little bit. It does go a long way!
They really have cleaning power, too! My mouth feels so refreshed afterwards! Unfortunately, two of my three children are sensitive to what they call “spicy” toothpaste, which essentially just means they are minty. My 9 year old daughter also loves this toothpaste, though, and often mentions how her teeth and mouth feel so much cleaner after brushing as well.
Himalaya Herbal Healthcare also put a lot of thought into their packaging. The toothpaste packaging is made with 100% recycled material and is printed with soy based inks.

Overall, I love what Himalaya Herbal Healthcare offers. I love that they offer such a great variety of natural dental products. Even better is that they are effective!

Sir Kensington’s Classic Ketchup has such a wonderful texture that I could just tell it was natural. Perhaps it’s because I’m a little picky and aware of artificial ingredients, but texture can say a lot about the ingredients in a product to me!
As I mentioned, I had heard the Spiced Ketchup is a “must have,” but I did think I might be the only one who would use it in our home. My husband doesn’t eat anything with tomatoes (he’s really picky about all foods), and our kids don’t generally like anything “spicy.” What I found, though, is the Spiced Ketchup on its own may not be something the kids like (for example, on their sandwiches or for dipping), but it makes for a great marinade that even my husband likes! With so much flavor, you can think “beyond the box” and use it for more than “just a ketchup.”
Ah, mayonnaise. I LOVE mayonnaise! Again, though, it’s something I stopped purchasing because I couldn’t find one that had ingredients I was comfortable consuming or giving to our children. Even more natural versions have oils I prefer to minimize, so when I saw that Sir Kensington’s uses sunflower oil, I was very excited!
Again, I was afraid I might be the only one to enjoy the Chipotle Mayonnaise since I knew it might be a little spicy. I, personally, do enjoy it “as-is” for a dipping sauce or even on sandwiches. Similar to the Spiced Ketchup, though, it also works great in marinades, and that is something the whole family enjoys. It does still have a hint of spicy in marinades, but not so much that the kids even mention it, and when they don’t like something, they WILL tell us! If you like to make dishes like tacos or nacho dip – it is great for that as well!
