Little Cosmetics Pretend Make-up Review and Giveaway (ends 4/10)

March 27, 2013 by Emilee Evans

Little Cosmetics Pretend Make-up Kit is a great play make-up kit – with all of the essentials! For our review I received the Essential Set. It even came in a pink organza draw string bag. It was so cute! It looks and feels so realistic. I was surprised how real it looked! After I got it all out, I had to do a double-take and make sure it was really “just pretend!” But it is! The Essential Set includes:
– One Pressed Powder Compact
– One Lip Gloss
– One Pink Blush Compact
– One Glitter Shadow Pot
– One Eye Shadow Palette
– Makeup Brush Set
Our daughter is in love with her new make-up set. By my mistake, though, she uses the Glitter Shadow Pot as a Glitter lip gloss instead. That’s the best part about pretend, though, right? You can do whatever you want! She, though, is very “by the book” and even after playing with it several times prior to recording the video she still asked questions about what to use where! She wanted to make sure she was doing it “right!” She’s so cute! This is her wonderful spotlight review!

The brushes, powder applicator, and eye shadow wands definitely feel like the “real thing,” and I was even surprised at the texture of the pretend makeup itself! I almost expected powder or eye shadow to appear on my hand. You know how girls are – they really want things to be realistic. When it comes to play makeup it usually isn’t. It’s usually all plastic with a sticker on it which is blatantly obvious it’s a sticker. I was very impressed with the quality of this pretend makeup set! I can tell they really care about offering a great experience for their little customers! I, personally, appreciate a company that goes out of their way to make a product extra special. Our daughter has played with that kit so much. She just loves it. She has many other pretend make-up items that she hasn’t touched since the first day she got them, so it’s really nice to see her really enjoying it! Our sons even bug her about watching her play with it! haha
