My Top 5 Books I recommend this week are Christian books based on marriage and intimacy and security of knowing who you are – who God says you are! 🙂

The Good Girl’s Guide to Great Sex: (And You Thought Bad Girls Have All the Fun) – I recently started following Sheila’s blog, and her insight is just awesome! She covers topics I hope to cover so eloquently – the topic of marriage, intimacy, etc. from the Christian’s viewpoint – one that is NOT meant to be taboo! God created us to enjoy intimacy with our spouse! I highly recommend following her blog as well at To Love, Honor, and Vacuum!

Do You Think I’m Beautiful?: The Question Every Woman Asks – This book doesn’t necessarily pertain directly to marriage or intimacy but I found it to be an important step in my personal marriage as I was living with all the weight of what others told me about myself – all of these negative “wordly” opinions. This book helped me to love myself again the way God loves me because it doesn’t matter what “the world” says – my Heavenly Father thinks I’m beautiful! (Until I felt that security in myself I also couldn’t fully give to my marriage as I was constantly insecure, so it has definitely blessed my marriage as well!)
The Five Love Languages: The Secret to Love that Lasts – A necessity to every marriage! Do you know what your Love Language is? Do you know what your spouse’s Love Language is? Are you trying to fill them up with love in ways that would make YOU filled up with love but not necessarily them? I highly recommend this book! If you’re an Amazon Prime member it’s FREE, if not, it’s definitely worth the $6! 🙂
