My good friend, Christi, (I know I’ve mentioned her before because she’s awesome!) 🙂 is a Scentsy Independent Consultant. She is also a fellow military spouse, and their family is stationed in Germany. Being in a different country doesn’t at all affect her customer service, though, that is for sure! I had placed an order with her, and we picked a time to talk over the phone that worked for both of us despite the time difference, and she answered all my questions very efficiently!
Scentsy offers a safe, wickless alternative to traditional candles. When you have 3 kids and pets that’s a big deal! We can’t have candles burning in our house! They offer a wide variety of fantastic scents, beautiful warmers ranging in size from a small plug-in to a large warmer. They come in such a variety of of looks there’s something to fit everyone’s style! For all our other fellow military families they have a Patriot Collection as well! They also have a scent of the month, which features a discounted scent!
I ordered a full-size warmer from Christi back in November to match our kitchen and dining room decor, which has an outdoor theme. I chose the pine cone warmer. You can now find this one in the “Closeout” section! Our warmer sits on the ledge in between our kitchen and dining area. It’s the perfect spot because it scents both rooms sufficiently! I’ve tried a variety of scents from sweet to spicy, and I can’t really tell you my “favorite” because I like a lot of them! Currently that warmer is burning “Christmas Cottage” (yes, I’m aware it’s not even close to Christmas! haha). It has a nice, soothing cinnamon scent! I like the stronger, spicier scents for the kitchen and dining area, so that fits it perfectly! The first time I changed out my scents I did it without asking and apparently went about it the “hard way.” LOL So, next time I remembered to ask if there is an easier way. Wow, is there! When the wax is completely melted you just dump it out (or into one of the trays if you plan to re-use it) then wipe it out with a cloth – and you’re ready for a new one! Very easy! Another surprising thing is if you happen to spill a little the wax doesn’t burn! Again, another “family friendly” point that I think is awesome!
You might also notice in the picture the little “stick” beside my warmer. That is a perfume stick – now offered in their “Layers” line. They offer bath and body products that are paraben free (Yay!), as well as smelly good stuff for your laundry – also free of harsh chemicals! The perfume stick I have is “Love Story.” I didn’t know what to expect, exactly, but I definitely do enjoy the scent, so I think it was a good choice! 🙂
They also carry cute Scentsy Buddies that are great for kids (or even to look cute in their room!). There is a full size Buddy or now they also offer “Baby Buddies.” You zip up a little scent pack in the back of the Buddy! We have 2 boys and something about boys’ rooms just stink! Just having their Scentsy Buddies in their rooms has changed the scent of their rooms (for the better, obviously). I have to admit I didn’t expect such a dramatic difference, so that was a pleasant surprise! I encourage them to take them in the car as well! hehe 🙂 There are also scent tins and more!
Scentsy offers some great, family friendly products to make everything smell a little better! 🙂 If you have kids and/or pets, this is a nice alternative to traditional candles!
