I know I’ve mentioned my footwear woes in the past. Having a chronic pain disorder can mean lots of different woes, and finding comfortable shoes is one of them! When the weather is especially nice our family likes to spend a lot of time outdoors. We’re likely either fishing or gardening, which means various terrain and lots of time on our feet! Having a shoe that is both sturdy and comfortable is exactly what I need!

Lugz offers many different types of of footwear for men, women and kids. After having the opportunity to review a pair of Lugz women’s boots, I was in love! They were sleek looking and comfortable, too! What about when I’m out in shorts or capris, though? Sneakers are a must! That’s why I was thrilled for the opportunity to review the Lugz Zrocs.

Zrocs Review

For my Zrocs review, I received a pair of of the Zrocs in White/Yonder Blue.
I wasn’t sure what to expect since the Zrocs look more like a sneaker. I was surprised to discover they are actually pretty sturdy! They do have treading that is more like a sneaker, but the material is still really sturdy. In fact, the design of these shoes is exactly what I need for our outdoor activities! They are low around the ankles yet sturdy.

I’ve been wearing my Zrocs a lot on rough terrain, and the sneaker like treading still does really well whereas a typical sneaker would not. They do feel a little heavier than a typical sneaker, which is actually great for our outdoor activities. Shoes that are light and thin mean my feet will be hurting A LOT by the time we’re done.
Of course, comfort is also key. A shoe being sturdy means my feet are more stable, which is really helpful, but it’s also helpful to have a comfortable insole as well! I found the Zrocs to be comfortable as well. I have been wearing them for hours at a time with no problems. I do find they are a little loose at the heel, but it’s very slight to where it hasn’t been a problem. I really don’t think going a size down would be ideal. I think it’s just because I have narrow feet and ankles.
I also find the Zrocs to be fashion flexible. I love to wear them with my shorts and capris when I’m out working on the garden or fishing, but they also work great with jeans as well! They could also be worn with a more sporty look as well. Being white definitely allows them to be matched with more outfits.

I know being white is a deterrent for many because if they get dirty it shows. I definitely understand this sentiment, but I’ve been wearing them out in the garden and along the mucky banks at the lake, and although I have found the soles to have a little tinge to them, the main part of the shoe has cleaned up nicely with just a soapy washcloth.
The Lugz Zrocs are exactly what I needed to add to my summer style! They’re sturdy, stylish and comfortable! What do you look for in your summer style?
