Ah, spring! I always look forward to spring. I love the spring colors and enjoying time outdoors. With beautiful weather and spring colors it’s also time to update my fashion for spring. I love unique watches that pull together a fashionable style. With an eco-friendly watch with a gorgeous color I knew I was ready for spring!

JORD offers a variety of great Wood Watches that are made from a variety of diverse woods from around the world. Their unique watches are eco-friendly and stylish as well! I have had the opportunity to review various unique watches from JORD and really enjoy them.
For my review, I received a Cora Maple and Lavender watch from the JORD Ladies Cora Series. It truly is perfect for spring with the beautiful lavender color and fresh Maple band. Plus, it’s automatic. This is one of the features that was so impressive to me. There are no concerns about batteries that need to be changed or disposed of. I simply wind it up, and it’s ready to go! It also winds itself with motion/wear!
Unique Watches from JORD
As always, my new wood watch arrived in a nice wooden box with a pillow to hold its shape and protect it, a cleaning cloth, and an extra link in case it was needed. I got it sized in advance, which was really nice! A card with instructions on how to wind it and set the time was included as well. I have to admit, it would have taken me a while to figure it out on my own, so that was definitely appreciated!
Once again, I was impressed with the quality and how beautiful it is in person. I not only enjoy the fact that it’s automatic, but I love that there is a small clear circle on the face where the gears are visible. Plus, the entire back is clear as well. I’m a person that loves to know and see how things work, so I have been loving this feature!
Unique Watches for Spring
The Cora watch has a beautiful, feminine look with an average size watch face with swarovski crystal markers and the deployment buckle with push button, which makes it easy to put on and take off without needing any assistance. It is fairly light and feels comfortable on my wrist. Did I mention how beautiful it is? I am loving both the look and feel of the Cora watch and think it is the perfect watch for spring fashion.

Flash 'n Splash Rain Boots Review

Western Chief Kids has released fun new rain boots that light up when kids walk, jump, stomp, and splash! I know all three of our kids have always been excited by shoes that light up, so the idea of rain boots that light up is definitely exciting! Western Chief Kids offer a variety of fun rainwear sets and products for kids, and the Flash ‘n Splash Rain Boots are new this Spring! They have already had an amazing response, and it’s no wonder! They’re so much fun!
For our review we received a pair of the Flash ‘n Splash in the camo style for our preschooler. They have so many cute rainwear products it was hard to choose, but I knew he would LOVE the lights!

I was so excited when we received the boots! If they had adult sizes, I would definitely get a pair for myself as well! Of course, Chaz was excited, too! He has actually never had rain boots. It’s not because we haven’t gotten him rain boots. Because he has Sensory Processing Disorder he’s really particular about what he wears. He finds a lot of things to be uncomfortable, and rain boots were in that category. When I learned that the Flash ‘n Splash Boots had a moisture-absorbent cotton lining, I knew they would be different! Other boots we tried were rubber inside and out – and they definitely didn’t light up!

Not only did he enjoy the cotton lining, but because he is very particular about being independent he also really liked the pull straps so he could put them on by himself! He still has challenges putting on regular shoes, so he was definitely excited he could put them on himself!
Then, of course, there are the lights. The highlight of the Flash ‘n Splash boots. They really are fun and bright! The boots use a clear plastic so you can not only see the nice cotton lining but can easily see the lights as well! The camo Flash ‘n Splash boots light up red and blue in the heel and light up when walking, though it’s always more fun to stomp in puddles. Of course, he likes them so much he wears them on days it’s not raining!

Chaz definitely loves his Western Chief Kids Flash ‘n Splash Boots, and I’m so glad he finally HAS rain boots he wears and loves! He does occasionally let our daughter wear them, too, for fun because her feet aren’t that much bigger than his! I love that it allows him to be independent, comfortable, and have fun, too. The outsoles are deeply treaded, which is great for avoiding slips! I appreciate the sturdy quality and know they will last!
