TakeLessons – Flexible Lesson Options!

July 22, 2013 by Emilee Evans

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. Regardless, all opinions are my own.
TakeLessons
We’re all busy, so it is always nice to find resources to make things a little easier. TakeLessons offers flexible lessons and academic tutoring. There are over 30 lesson types available including: guitar, singing, piano, drums, violin, dance, and acting. Lessons are available in-studio, in-home, or online! For online lessons you just need Skype and reliable internet! That’s it! I love the flexibility of their options! There is an option to fit all families’ needs!
TakeLessons connects students and families with private music teachers, arts instructors and academic tutors throughout the US. They have helped over 30,000 students since 2006. They focus on safety and quality; every instructor completes an extensive interview, training, and an annual criminal background check. Plus, they assist with scheduling, initial coordination with the instructor, and billing – so all you have to worry about is enjoying your lessons! In addition, you receive an online student account that helps you stay organized with scheduling and billing tools.
They also offer helpful video tutorials like finding your Voice Type (shown below).

TakeLessons lesson prices vary depending on location and length of lessons. Their most popular lesson package is their Quarterly package. With this package you book 12 lessons and get 1 free. Other packages include month-to-month and Flex. With the Flex plan you coordinate lesson times as you go along with your instructor.
Take Lessons offers a 100% Money Back Guarantee. If you’re not satisfied with your first lesson they will find you another teacher or refund all of your original purchase price – including the first lesson!
Plus there are no long-term commitments. You can switch your schedule, teacher or instrument type at any time! There are teachers available for all ages and all experience levels.
To learn more, and begin searching for a music instructor, go to TakeLessons.com

*Special!*

TakeLessons is offering 20% off all lessons packages with the unique promo code “SUMMERMUSIC31” book online, or give them a call at 619-618-7953 to talk through options and pricing with a Student Counselor! Don’t forget to use the promo code to receive the special!

What an awesome option! I played flute and piccolo in high school and have thought about taking them up again, but would need a refresher – this might be great for that!

How fun! I played the flute as well! 🙂

I’ve always wanted to learn to play guitar. This program sounds great! I love the idea of being able to learn in the atmosphere of your home. Thanks for sharing!

This is such a great option. I have been wanting to start my kids in music lessons but all the options I have found are too far from home.

I like the money back guarantee. it’s so important with a new type of service like this to put people’s minds at ease. Maybe I should consider it now that my son is getting to the age where lessons could really be fun!

I always look for a money back guarantee myself since I know there are things that just won’t work for our kids, so I love that they back their lessons with this!

That is so great! It can be difficult to find teachers for things when you live out in the country. This looks like it could be a great option!

      July 23, 2013 at 9:34 pm

      Yes, it can!

I live in the country and I agree with Renae, it’s hard to find teachers for many classes. This sounds like a wonderful option!

I can imagine! We live in a city, and it’s even hard here because it’s a smaller city. Most everything is in Austin, which is an hour drive!

What a great option! My daughter is very into music and will be starting lessons soon so thank you for sharing!

Though my kids aren’t in need of lessons currently, I will definitely be keeping this site in mind for the future. I’m sure it will come in handy for music or other subjects later 🙂
