The Balance Project #BalanceProject

May 26, 2015 by Emilee Evans

One of the most common questions I hear is “how do you balance it all?” Isn’t that what so many people are after – balance? Balancing blogging, parenting, homemaking, homeschooling, activities, etc. can really be tricky. Truthfully, I don’t feel like I balance it very well! Apparently, I’m not alone! Although most people (98% of Americans, in fact) believe achieving and maintaining balance is important, only 14% report that they always feel balanced! 14%!
Balance Bar® is stepping in with The Balance Project! It is a multi-year, multi-platform program to open a dialogue that will aid in improving America’s levels of balance. The Balance Project offers a place to share ideas, discuss challenges and successes and have some fun as well – on a journey to sustain balance!
The Balance Project
Disclosure: As a Balance Bar Insider I received complimentary products to facilitate my post. Regardless, all opinions are my own.
The Balance Project’s exclusive guide, Gabrielle Reece, a worldwide fitness and wellness role model, entrepreneur, wife, and mother of three, will provide advice, tips and her personal insights for addressing and achieving balance in these areas.

“One the biggest reasons I see people fail at achieving their health and wellness goals is because they don’t go into a program with a balanced approach,” explains Reece. “I’m thrilled to share my perspective on balancing busy lives, families and work with healthy diet and exercise habits that anyone can incorporate into their lives.”

Balance isn’t easy, but with help, it’s something we can strive to achieve, and I think it’s great that Balance Bar has partnered with Gabby Reece to offer a solid support for achieving and maintaining balance! Women often find achieving balance is a little harder – particularly when motherly instincts kick in! The Balance Project is helpful for women and men alike! Be sure to use #BalanceProject to join the conversation and visit the Balance Project for all the information!

About Balance Bar

Developed in 1992, Balance Bar®, one of America’s original nutrition/energy bars, offers the right ratio of ingredients and nutrients that are formulated to help keep you in balance, delivering the nutritional benefits to help you enjoy today while looking after tomorrow. Balance Bar® is available in four unique product lines (Original, Gold, Dark and Bare) that offer more than 20 delicious flavors. Original, Gold and Dark are based on the 40/30/30 nutrition model – a proven formula developed by scientists to help maintain blood sugar levels already within a normal range and that represents the caloric ratio the body needs to enjoy lasting balanced energy and help satisfy hunger for longer; 40% of total calories from carbohydrates, 30% from protein and 30% from dietary fat.

I spent all of 2014 figuring out how to have a balanced lifestyle. It does take an effort to make sure you’re not over-doing it in one area. I haven’t tried the balance bars, though. I may give that a shot for when I’m busy.

I surely wish I could try these products enough to lose some weight. I almost cried the last time I was weighed at the Drs.

I believe that people with a short commute feel more balanced. It’s not fun to have to travel a distance to work, especially in the city. This is cool project. I like that it’s planned over multiple years.
