So, obviously I still haven’t made a decision on the video blogs! haha I’ll figure it out eventually! ๐ I honestly thought I had gone through most of The Love Dare before, but I came to discover today that I either had stopped already on Day 4 or I just stopped writing about it. I know we were in a rough spot, and I’m even more grateful God worked everything out because clearly I wasn’t trying as much as I should! Yikes! I’m really enjoying going through this and reading the Devotionals each day as well! I think no matter where you are in your marriage there is always something you can learn!
Day 3
Well, I wasn’t very successful with Day 3. At the beginning of the book it is written that some challenges may not be possible due to certain situations, circumstances, etc. Day 3 happened to be one of them because it required buying something unexpected for your spouse. Well, it was also Father’s Day, so there were already some purchases made, and unfortunately at this time, we have a pretty tight budget. So spending extra money just wasn’t feasible for us. We did have a great time using the Father’s Day purchases to go fishing! ๐
Day 4
Today was Day 4, and it was a challenge that was so simple to do but something I rarely do! Call your spouse during the work day just to check in and see if they need anything. How simple is that? Then again, how simple is it NOT to do that, too? That’s why we must make a conscious effort to do so! My husband was pleasantly surprised by my call and said I “made his day.” Awwww. Why don’t I do that more often?! I am taking some good notes! I hope you’re taking some good notes and learning new things along the way, too!
*Remember – no matter what day you’re on or if you’d like to start The Love Dare you can join our Private Facebook Group at any time! We’re there to share with each other, encourage each other, and pray for each other! Just send me a friend request on my Personal Facebook Page along with a message that you’d like to join our group! I pray you’ll be blessed by the challenge itself as well as the group!*
