I have heard so many great things about coconut oil that I have been wanting to try it, so I was very excited at the opportunity to review Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil. Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is certified organic according to strict USDA requirements. It is also hand-made in the Philippines the traditional way. This sets it apart from others. Find out more about what makes Tropical Traditins Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil different:

I love that it is not mass-marketed and USDA certified organic. That tells me they are serious about making a high-quality product!
coconut oilYou can use coconut oil for so many things – cooking, bath and body care products, for your pets, to polish furniture, and the list goes on! There really are SO many uses for coconut oil! I haven’t had a chance to try it out for everything I’d like to, but I have enjoyed using it in my cooking, and my family has enjoyed it as well! You can look up recipes using coconut oil or, what I did was simply substitute coconut oil for other oils. It’s really simple to do! You just need to heat up the coconut oil a little if it has solidified. Otherwise, I would just substitute the same amount, and it worked great! One of my favorite was a gluten free, dairy free cornbread. I had been wanting to make it, but I couldn’t fathom using that much oil. I felt so much better using the coconut oil instead, and we all enjoyed the cornbread!
Here is more information on How to Use Coconut Oil.
Although I have yet to use the coconut oil in any of my own bath and body care product recipes, many of the natural products I use have it in them, so when things start to settle down I’m definitely going to be putting it to use in bath and body care products as well – not just for myself, but for the whole family – including the pets!

I like how coconut oil you get there is solid. over here, it’s always in oil form and it can go rancid rather quickly.
