Tropical Traditions Giveaway (ends 9/12)

August 27, 2012 by Emilee Evans

Welcome to the Tropical Traditions Giveaway! I’m really excited about this giveaway! Check out the wonderful review below by the awesome host Mommy Lesson Plans!
I have never used coconut oil, so when I was offered the opportunity to review it, I was very curious. I immediately went onto the internet to search of ways to use the coconut oil. Wow! What a plethora of information to choose from.

So, I tried several things. Removing stickers off the furniture did not work. Fixing chapped feet seemed like it would take a long time. Although using a little bit of it on my frizzy hair seemed to work okay.

What really worked for me was cooking with it. It works very well as a replacement for other oils. It adds the slightest bit of flavor that I have trouble explaining. But, it’s good. I used it in many of my regular recipes. I tried a couple of recipes off the website. My family loved the Penne Pasta Salad. It was very flavorful. I loved the Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies, but the rest of my family did not. This was not surprising to me because they have never been fans of wheat flour. So, it wasn’t due to the coconut oil. I look forward to trying the Cilantro Coconut Pesto and the Coconut Chicken Curry Stir Fry.
So, if you want to try some of these recipes, you can buy it here. (If you order by clicking on any of my links and have never ordered from Tropical Traditions in the past, you will receive a free book on Virgin Coconut Oil, and I will receive a discount coupon for referring you.) Or you could win some!
Win 1 quart of Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil!
Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil - 32 oz.
Tropical Traditions is America’s source for coconut oil. Their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is hand crafted in small batches by family producers, and it is the highest quality coconut oil they offer. You can read more about how virgin coconut oil is different from other coconut oils on their website: What is Virgin Coconut Oil?
You can also watch the video they produced about Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil:
Tropical Traditions also carries other varieties of affordable high quality coconut oil. Visit their website to check on current sales, to learn about the many uses of coconut oil, and to read about all the advantages of buying coconut oil online. Since the FDA does not want us to discuss the health benefits of coconut oil on a page where it is being sold or given away, here is the best website to read about the health benefits of coconut oil.

The event dates: 8/28 – 9/12

This event would not become possible without the participation of these amazing co-hosts:  Giveaway Gator , Couponing with Integrity, Pea of Sweetness, and Exhausted Mommy

a Rafflecopter giveaway
