Wearever Socks by Buster Brown {Review}

September 21, 2013 by Emilee Evans

Disclosure: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
Wearever
I have been hearing a lot about Wearever. They offer many products for a variety of needs – particularly incontinence products. I was most intrigued, though, by their Diabetic Socks. Although nobody in our immediate household has diabetes my husband suffers from chemotherapy induced neuropathy, which is very similar to the type of neuropathy those with diabetes often have that affect their feet.
The Diabetic Socks by Buster Brown are 100% cotton and are made with no elastics or synthetic materials. They are great for those with poor circulation and easily irritated skin. They are specifically designed to reduce binding, improve comfort, and and eliminate skin irritations.

Diabetic Socks

For my husband this would offer many benefits – particularly the comfort and improved circulation. Even eliminating skin irritation is an added benefit because he often can’t feel his feet. If something is causing irritation he may not know about it, which can lead to further problems. He has many unique issues with his feet due to the neuropathy. He needs the type of products that will fit his unique needs.
Here is what he had to say about the Buster Brown Diabetic Socks:
“I have always been a fan of socks so I was excited to try these out. When I first saw them I couldn’t see how these socks could make a difference in my neuropathy pain in my feet. When I first put them on, I still couldn’t understand how these kind of socks could make a difference. Then a few hours goes by with a lot less pain. The way the socks breath and the material really seems to make a huge difference. I used to buy sport socks for the tight fit. But now these are my new favorite socks that I own.”
He really isn’t exaggerating when he said he loves socks! When he gets a new pair of socks it’s like receiving the best gift ever! haha I had others that had encouraged us to try these type of socks for my husband, and I’m really glad that we did. It’s nice to know that they do make such a difference and also help with the amount of pain he feels in his feet as the pain from the neuropathy is always a big concern. Now he also doesn’t have to worry about skin irritation, either! I’m so glad he had the chance to try the Diabetic Socks!
