It Works! Wrap Review

It Works! offers a variety of natural body contouring products and supplements. I had a chance to review the Ultimate Body Applicator. It really is as easy to apply as the picture states!

As someone who is conscious of ingredients and always looking for products to improve my health I could definitely appreciate the natural ingredients in the Body Applicator and the way it detoxifies. I know I am in need of a good detox. In fact, having Fibromyalgia I can benefit from more regular detoxification. I had never had the chance to try the It Works! Ultimate Body Applicator before, though!
I do have a little extra around the middle after a disaster with a treatment for my endometriosis I was not keen on to begin with – meaning they gave me hormones to try to treat it, and I gained some weight, particularly around my stomach. I received a lot of information on how to be healthier in general as well as how to use the wrap to its fullest. I received very detailed instructions as well as key points like drinking plenty of water during the detoxification process. I also received more information about the other supplements they offer as well. I loved the whole experience and the desire to help!

As I mentioned, I found the wrap simple to apply. After smoothing it on I used an ankle wrap to hold it in place. Using saran wrap has been mentioned as well, but it’s important to note: the point is NOT to sweat because that would actually be counterproductive. You should AVOID sweating while wearing the wrap. It is to simply hold the wrap in place better.
I then set my timer for 45 minutes. Since it was my first time trying it, it was important to remove it after 45 minutes to at least be sure I wasn’t experiencing any skin irritation, which I’m happy to report I didn’t experience! It did feel a little cool and tingly, which I was expecting particularly because of the menthol.
After 45 minutes I took a measurement and was surprised I had lost 3/4 of an inch! It was progress, and I was really excited about it! The wrap continues to work for up to 72 hours beyond the application as it continues to work through your system, so I keep drinking my water to help it do its job effectively. It is recommended to drink 8-10 oz per hour while you wrap, then half your body weight in ounces PER DAY for the next 3 days. (If you weigh 150 pounds, that’s 75 ounces of water a day.) It is advised to not consume other liquids during the following 3 days (soda, coffee, alcohol,etc. – milk and juice are okay.)
I have loved the immediate results and can’t wait to see continued results over time.
