YumEarth Organics Fruit Snacks Review

August 13, 2013 by Emilee Evans

Disclosure: I received the products mentioned in order to facilitate my review. Regardless, all opinions are 100% mine.
organic fruit snacks
Although our family isn’t “going back to school” I know many are, and it’s time to start thinking about a lot of choices that can be overwhelming – like snacks. More and more parents are looking for healthier snack options to send to school with their children as we become more aware of the dangers of harmful, synthetic ingredients. If you are packing their lunch with wholesome foods and snacks you will feel good knowing they have had a healthy lunch and snacks!
YumEarth was born out of commitment to offer healthy foods free of harmful ingredients like high fructose corn syrup, artificial dyes and other artificial ingredients. YumEarth is the number one organic candy company in the US. They really are a company that cares about health and our environment. Their ingredients are grown on sustainable family farms! YumEarth also has no gluten, peanuts, or tree-nuts! I had the pleasure of reviewing their organic gummy bears in the past.
Now, just in time for back to school YumEarth has introduce their new organic fruit snacks! Of course they are made with organic fruit juice and other planet friendly ingredients. They are 100% vegan with NO artificial colors or flavors, no high fructose corn syrup and no dairy, nuts or gluten!

We received 2 bags of YumEarth organic fruit snacks for our review and as regular YumEarth consumers we were more than excited to try the new fruit snacks! We were definitely NOT disappointed. Fruit snacks have been one of the hardest things for our family to “let go,” but it is really hard to find any with wholesome ingredients! Most are filled with food dyes, which are an absolute “NO NO” in this house! You can imagine how thrilled we were to thrilled to discover YumEarth not only offers fruit snacks with no artificial colors but also the other great ingredients as well!
So how is the taste? Fantastic! In fact, we like them so much I had to remind the kids we can’t eat them all at once! They have a great taste and fun fruit shapes! The consistency is appealing in that they are not hard to chew or too “gummy.” I really like that! Not to mention the colorful illustration on the bags makes it even more appealing to kids! Our kids were most attracted to the fun fruit shapes, though! They had a great time naming the fruits and showing them to each other!
As always, YumEarth delivered, and now is a great time to stock up on these organic fruit snacks to be sure you are ready for the school year with snacks you know you can feel good about sending to school with your kids!
