June 28, 2013 by Emilee Evans

Welcome to the
Almondina Biscuit Cookie Giveaway!
Hosted By – My Kind Of Introduction
Sponsored By – The Almondina Brand

Review by Autumn at My Kind of Introduction:
Snacks are a big deal in my house. My daughters are ages 6 and 7 and are always on the go! Running in and out of the house, through the neighborhood, playing and simply being kids. All that playing can wear a kid out and what better to boost your energy than with food!

A couple weeks ago, I received a box full of various flavors of Almondina Cookies. I’d never tried them before but I was willing to give them a try!
Not only did my fiance and I enjoy the cookies, my 2 daughters LOVE them as well! They would take the packs outside to share with their friends as well as eating whole packs by themselves! Lets just say that the box of Almondina Cookies was empty in less than week! Crazy right!!??

Chocolate Tortilla Chips
Busy Bumble Bee’s Review Of Food Should Taste Good:
I have to admit that I’m a snacker. I think most day’s I just snack through the day and don’t have a whole meal, unlike my children. Who eat 3 square meal’s a day. And even though this is probably not the wisest or healthiest way of living, I seem to survive. One of my favorite things to snack on are chips, any kind of chip. Flavored chips, plain chips, tortilla chips to dip in a good dip.
I got the opporunity to try out some of Food Should Taste Good chips. They sent me a box of 4 different varities to try out. The thing that I loved the most about thes chips is that they are all natural and aren’t made with a bunch of gunk. And that the ingredients are easy to read and pronounce so I’m not standing there with a duh look on my face, wondering what in the world I’m eating and feeding my children.
I got the chance to try out the Chocolate Tortilla Chip, the Blue Corn Tortilla Chips, the Jalapeno Tortilla Chips, and the Sweet Potato Chips.
Chocolate Tortilla Chips~ These were the first ones we tried. I actually took these chip’s with us on our road trip when we we’re headed to go to ride on Thomas the Tank. I thought that they would be a good snack to have on the way home. I wasn’t sure what I first expected from these. I was kinda like “ummmm chocolate tortilla chips, ok”. But as soon as I opened them and took a bite of them I was addicted. There was just enough chocolate taste that you couldn’t really taste the tortilla chip part. In fact these are my new favorite dessert chips. My kids absolutely loved these chips and wouldn’t share with me, so I only got 3 out of the whole bag.

Blue Corn Tortilla Chips~ These were the next chips we tried. I absolutely love Blue Corn chips, I’ve been eating Blue Corn chips since I was a child and my parents first had me try them. But these Blue Corn tortilla chips were different than the ones I grew up eating. These ones were nice and lite and airy. They also tasted really good dipped in a cheese dip or bean dip.
The Sweet Potato Chips~ Are just what they say they are, Sweet Potato’s. They added just a little bit of sugar to them to sweeten them. But most of the sweet taste on these is from the Sweet Potato itself. These were another favorite of my kids. They loved having these chips with their sandwiches for lunch.
Jalapeno Tortilla Chips: I was a little afraid that these tortilla chips might be a little spicy, not that I don’t like spicy. Because I really do like spicy food. But when I took a bite of these chips. Again the Jalapeno flavor wasn’t overpowering, but it was just there. You could taste it, in the mixture of the tortilla chip. It wasn’t so hot that a kid couldn’t have them either. These were again nice and crispy and airy. They were great on their own, or with a cheese or bean dip.
All in all I really enjoyed being able to try Food Should Taste Good chips. But I have to say I definitely wish the bags had been a little bit bigger. Because my children seemed to get more chips than I did.
Food Should Taste Good is giving 1 lucky reader a chance to win a sample pack of their chips. This giveaway is running from 6/26/13 to 7/10/13. Good luck to all that Enter!!!!
