My Review:
I was excited when I saw the StandScan PRO because I, for one, could definitely see the need for this! I scan and e-mail often from my phone because my actual scanners never work, and I have 2 of them! My scanner app on my phone, though, is great! The not so great thing, though, is trying to steady my hands to get a good picture of whatever I’m scanning. Unfortunately, my hands AREN’T very steady. Plus there is always a shadow! When I saw the StandScan I knew this would be a solution to my problem!
When I received the StandScan I was surprised that it shipped in a large envelope! I didn’t know it could fold that flat! It takes up no space at all when you have it folded down! It’s pretty easy to set up as well! I did have a small issue with one of the magnets that didn’t want to stay, but when I creased the side a little more it fixed the issue! I love that it has built in lights so the document is well lit and evenly lit. If you’re at home there is a wall plug, and if you’re on the go you can plug it in to a little battery pack! You really could use it anywhere! It’s definitely very portable, so you can easily take your business or work on the go! I wanted to share a scanned page so you can see how well it included the whole page – clear words, not crooked, and no shadows!
Overall, I think the StandScan is a useful product whether you scan documents regularly or even once in a while since it is so portable and easy to store!
