Essentia Natural Memory Foam Pillow {Review}

Having a chronic pain disorder I try to do everything possible to minimize the pain naturally. Part of that means sleeping well and being comfortable! When I was presented with the opportunity to review one of Essentia’s Natural Memory Foam Pillows, I was definitely interested! Upon learning more about Essentia I realized their story is similar to ours. We started looking for more natural and eco-friendly products after my husband’s cancer diagnosis and learning more about what is in the products we use.

I received Essentia’s Natural Memory Foam Comfort Pillow for my review. Essentia’s Comfort Pillow combines shredded natural latex and conforms to your sleep style. So whether you are a side sleeper, back sleeper, or a little of everything like me – the Comfort Pillow is a flexible option! Plus it is breathable and hypoallergenic for a healthy sleep environment! It has the nice striped cover that can be unzipped and removed, so you don’t need an additional pillowcase!
I have been using my Comfort Pillow for about 2 weeks now, and I have been much more comfortable at night. The tension I often get in my neck (that often leads to headaches) has been much improved. I did have to get used to it at first because I have never used a pillow with that much support. It seems to be just what I need, though! Of course, the natural memory foam does conform to whichever way I am laying at the time (I move A LOT in my sleep), but it offers that support as well!
There are a couple of additional qualities I noticed about my new Comfort Pillow:

• It doesn’t have “new pillow smell.” I don’t know how to explain it, but often new pillows have a sort of smell to them. I assume it’s from the materials and chemicals as well as the plastic in which they are sold. The Essentia Comfort Pillow didn’t have that. They didn’t wrap it in a bunch of synthetic materials for shipping, either!
• Even the fabric is more eco-friendly. The fabrics are 100% organic.
• The Comfort Pillow is similar to a traditional pillow as far as size and shape are concerned.

I’m very happy with my Essentia Comfort Pillow! It makes my nights more comfortable, so I can sleep better and not wake up stiff and sore!
