Mommy's Club Eco-Friendly Products Review

March 25, 2014 by Emilee Evans

Disclosure: I received the products mentioned to facilitate my eco-friendly products review. Regardless, all opinions are my own and those of my family. This post contains affiliate links.

As an eco-friendly family we are always looking for chemical free products that are safe for our family. There can be many difficulties in finding products that are safe for our family as even products labeled “natural” or even “organic,” can still contain harmful ingredients we try to avoid. It can be exhausting reading labels, and who has time to read all the labels when you’re out shopping with three kids?
When I learned about Mommy’s Club I was excited at the possibilities. Finally eco-friendly products with ingredients I am comfortable with using with my family, and I don’t even have to go out shopping! I can do all of my shopping online and have them shipped to my door.
Plus, Mommy’s Club is so much more than just online shopping with family-friendly, eco-friendly products. Mommy’s Club offers an opportunity for families to live healthier and build an income promoting more natural, eco-friendly living. It’s something many of us are doing anyway, and now we have a better vehicle to do this that offers a full array of products and tools.
For my review I received the All in Bundle.
eco-friendly products review
I was so excited to see and try everything included. I loved that when it arrived all the products were in nice burlap bags, and I was amazed by all that is included! Talk about getting your business and eco-friendly lifestyle started off right! The All in Bundle includes: 1 Baby Shampoo 8 oz, 1 Rash & Remedy Skin Relief 1 oz, 1 Baby Lotion 8 oz, 4 Perfect Touch Sanitizers 1 oz, 2 Perfect Touch Sanitizers 4 oz, 1 Baby Foaming Wash 7 oz, 1 Daily Cleansing Foam 7 oz, 1 Cherry Chewable Multivitamin for Children with Daily Probiotic, 1 Advance Omega 3/6/9 Natural lemon Flavored 8 oz, 1 Pre-natal Plus 16 oz, 1 Total Body Health with Multivitamin 32 oz, and 1 Total Body Health for Children with Multivitamin 16 oz.
I want to highlight a few of the products, so you can understand what the All in Bundle entails!

Vitamins

Children's vitaminsThe All in Bundle includes four different vitamins/supplements. I was definitely excited to try them all as we are big on making sure to take supplements since I lack specific vitamins and minerals and our children and my husband don’t exactly eat a wide range of foods. I was most excited about the Children’s Cherry Chewable multi-vitamin. Not only do they not have artificial colors like many of the store-bought brands (which we no longer buy for that reason), but they contain a pro-biotic as well! If a vitamin can pack more of a punch, and I don’t have to give the kids multiple supplements, that is a big deal, so I was thrilled to discover that! Plus, even our oldest son, who can be picky liked them! It is a win-win!
The other vitamins/supplements were in liquid form. The Prenatal Plus (which is recommended for any women – not just pregnant and breastfeeding moms), Total Body Health, and Total Body Health for Children are a somewhat thin liquid, and they do all have a slight vitamin taste. It personally didn’t bother me, but it does note you can mix it with juice for best taste. Again, even our picky son didn’t even notice the taste once I mixed it in with juice! They do have to be kept refrigerated and also contain no artificial ingredients.
The Advance Omega 3/6/9 is a thicker consistency and has a lemon taste. I found no need to mix it with anything. In fact, I think it tastes good! The kids like it, too. I like that we’re getting our omegas in a form that doesn’t leave a fishy aftertaste and is something we all enjoy and doesn’t contain worrisome ingredients!

Baby Body Care

eco-friendly baby lotionAlthough our kids aren’t babies, the baby line of products is definitely still suitable. The All in Bundle includes Baby Lotion, Shampoo, and Foaming Wash. The Shampoo and Lotion smell fantastic, and the good news is, it’s not because of artificial fragrances! They contain lavender essential oils, which is also great for relaxation as well, so it’s a great way to get the kids to wind down for the day and get ready for bed.
Did you have a long day and don’t have time for a bath? The Baby Foaming Wash doesn’t require water! Simply use it all over and wipe it with a towel when finished. It’s a great way to get a refreshing quick clean when time is short or if you’re traveling. I like to have our kids use it on their hands when they need a quick clean but may not need to really scrub their hands. The Daily Cleansing Foam that is included is very similar, and I use it for my own hands and quick cleanups as needed.

Rash & Remedy Skin Relief

Rash RemedyI am in LOVE with the Rash & Remedy Skin Relief. It has a smooth consistency like a lotion and has lavender essential oils, which is the predominant scent, but it also contains a couple of other powerhouse essential oils like Helichrysum and Melaleuca (Tea Tree). Plus it also has Aloe and Coconut oil, which are both soothing. I was really impressed by the ingredients, and am definitely pleased with how well it works. One day we had an incident where our preschooler’s hand got stuck in our cat’s collar, and he, my husband, and I all got a few scratches. I used the Rash & Remedy Skin Relief, and the swelling subsided quickly as well as the redness. I was so glad to have it on hand! Any time I have a sore or scratch I use it now.

Perfect Touch Sanitizer

eco-friendly sanitizerI hate to say I saved the best for last because truthfully it’s hard for me to say what my favorite product is since they all have very unique purposes, but the Perfect Touch Sanitizer definitely fills a need for our family. Eco-friendly sanitizers are hard to come by. Most sanitizers contain harsh ingredients that aren’t safe. So I was really excited to have sanitizers that are toxic-free, and I can use them on anything!
They are spray bottles, but don’t assume you are limited to surface use only. We use them on our hands all the time as well – particularly when we’re out and about! The 1 oz Perfect Touch Sanitizer is the perfect “purse size” sanitizer, and I always have one in my purse. We use it for our hands, shopping cart, toys we’re playing with out and about, etc. It’s so nice to have something on hand to protect our family and the environment as well!
The 4 oz is the one I use more around the home, and I’m pretty sure I’ve used it on just about everything at this point! It’s just so versatile! The kids’ toys are definitely the main target of the sanitizer because they just need to be sanitized, and I’m so glad I can finally do so without worrying about nasty chemicals!
Something else I think is great about the Perfect Touch Sanitizers is that you get quite a few with the All in Bundle, which means you have a great opportunity to share them with others. Many people don’t know how dangerous the ingredients in most sanitizers are. The 1 oz sanitizers are a great sample size to share with somebody. You will be helping spread awareness for the benefits of eco-friendly living as well as sharing with them an opportunity of how they, too, can have a profitable business living an eco-friendly lifestyle.
I know I am so glad I was introduced to Mommy’s Club and had a chance to experience all of the great products in the All in Bundle. I am so excited to continue sharing my passion of eco-friendly living and equipping others with knowledge and products that all-natural, toxic-free, BPA free, vegan, Non-GMO, Cruelty Free, and made in the USA.

I like all that you stated about Mommy’s Club Eco-friendly products. I especially appreciated what you said about the 1 oz Perfect Touch Sanitizer. I have been using hand sanitizers for a long time and I am glad for a company that makes a healthy sanitizer. Thank you for your review.

You’re welcome! It is definitely hard to find eco-friendly hand sanitizer, so that is definitely a huge plus!

I always prefer eco-friendly products for my babies. I would suggest not to use eco-friendly products only for babies that are harmful to family members. For other requirement make a habit to use thermal bags because plastic bags harm human bodies.
