I had a chance to review 3 different types of Kind Bars: Blueberry Vanilla & Cashew, Blueberry Pecan + Fiber, and Fruit & Nut Delight.
Although I had tried a KIND bar in the past that was given to me, I was definitely eager to try more varieties of KIND bars! I love that they are made with real ingredients and not anything that leaves you scratching your head wondering what exactly that is! All of the bars were full of flavor! In fact, the kids asked for some, too, and loved them as well! Because I felt good about the ingredients, I wasn’t worried about letting them have some! There wasn’t a type we didn’t like! Many of the KIND bars also pack quite a few benefits when it comes to vitamins as well, from which we can all benefit!
My personal favorite was the Blueberry Vanilla & Cashew, though! I just loved the taste combination! I found that the little bit of sweet also helped curb my craving for the not so healthy sweets, which is a huge advantage! I found the KIND bars made a great snack and pick-me-up. I eat every 2-3 hours to keep my metabolism going, and the KIND bars were the perfect quick snack in between the “regular” meals.
But besides great tasting bars with healthy ingredients, do you know what else is great about KIND? Their name “KIND” is definitely fitting because they celebrate and inspire kindness! Their latest initiative is helping victims of Hurricane Sandy. Many know that Hurricane Sandy was devastating. It destroyed thousands of homes and changed millions of lives. What people may not know, though, is that many people are STILL being affected today.
Knowing this, KIND Healthy Snacks has teamed up with clean water organization, Waves for Water to gut and rebuild a NJ-based volunteer firefighter’s home, which had been completely destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. Through its ‘Do the KIND Thing Mission”, KIND was able to donate their time and $10,000 to the restoration.
Though $10,000 will help, KIND is looking to us, the community, to get more involved by sharing this video. It both highlights the work of Waves for Water and helps shed some light on the impact Hurricane Sandy is still having today. I know it was an eye-opener for me! Do you know what else? For every view, $1 will be donated toward this firefighter’s home! How amazing is that?

I love Kind bars. My favorite is the Dark Chocolate Sea Salt. The vanilla one was the first flavor I tried, and I like those too. It’s what got me hooked in the first place!
I really want to try the Dark Chocolate Sea Salt. I will definitely have to get some!
