MIRA Digital Kitchen Scale Review

September 20, 2013 by Emilee Evans

I have a confession to make. I’m not very good in the kitchen. I’m working on improving, and if you give me recipes I can definitely follow them. The problem comes in when recipes ask for a weight of the ingredients rather than a measurement. I can’t just guess and get it right. I probably wouldn’t even be close. So generally I have to skip recipes that call for weight unless I have that exact weight of the ingredient already. So, I jumped at the chance to review the MIRA ST95 Digital Kitchen Scale with Stainless Steel Bowl
Digital Kitchen Scale
I am really impressed with the MIRA ST95 Digital Kitchen Scale. It has so many features! For one, I love that it comes with a stainless steel bowl that isn’t attached. It fits so nicely with the scale, but you can also use it without the scale as well! I love a good, big mixing bowl. In fact, I desperately needed a new one, so the fact that the scale actually comes with such a nice large mixing bowl is an added benefit! What a treat! Plus, the fact that it isn’t attached means that if I need to measure something that wouldn’t fit well in the bowl (I haven’t experienced this yet, but I’m sure it’s possible) means I can do so without complications.
The screen is bright and easy to read. The blue backlight is nice, and the digital display is sharp and clear. The scale is easy to operate in general and operates with 3 AAA batteries. It has an 11 pound capacity.
An operation feature I love about this scale is you can zero the scale any time you need. So if you choose to not use the bowl you can zero the scale without anything on it. Once you have the bowl on there you can zero it with the bowl on it. The nice thing is, you can also zero it once you have added an ingredient, so if you need to add another ingredient that also needs weighed you don’t have to do so separately. You can simply zero the scale and add it in with the current ingredients! I love the ease and convenience.
The MIRA ST95 Digital Kitchen Scale definitely fills a need for us and does so very well! You can purchase the MIRA ST95 Digital Kitchen Scale on Amazon.com and comes with 100% MIRA Guaranteed Product Satisfaction.

Awesome review. I’ve been wanting a new kitchen scale and have been looking at this one. Glad to see a good review on it.
